I do enjoy musicals, comedy, romance, and childrens' movies. It really all depends. The only ones I am not fond of are horror and war movies.

I love all types of music, except for rap. Of course the oldies bring many fond memories.

Nicholas sparks, VC Andrews, Janet Evanovich, Barbara Delinsky, and many more.

I am presently reading The Lost Boy

In October 2010 I got ALL and Leukemia from a drug used to cure my breast cancer. ( 2008)

I spent 30 days at Brigham and Women Hospital in Boston, and continue at Dana Farber as an outpatient.

My ALL and Leukemia are now in remission.

It was a go!...transplant

a little set back I have been in Brigham and women since the inthe beginning of November. finially on the roAD TO RECOVERY.

My donor , he is 27 and he was a 100% match.

The buzz phrase for today was..." You are an overachiever!"

A blood stem cell transplant replaces a person's abnormal stem cells with healthy ones from another person (a donor). This procedure allows the recipient to get new stem cells that work properly.

Stem cells are found in bone marrow, a sponge-like tissue inside the bones. Stem cells develop into the three types of blood cells that the body needs:
• Red blood cells, which carry oxygen through the body
• White blood cells, which fight infection
• Platelets (PLATE-lets), which help the blood clot

They had hoped for 90% of my donor's stem cells to take over mine, and 97% have. They are elated. My WBC is in normal range. All the other blood things are coming along nicely.

My liver and kidney function is normal.

I continue to go to Boston about once a month. My immune system is coming along.
