MOVIES
I do enjoy musicals, comedy, romance, and childrens' movies. It really all depends. The only ones I am not fond of are horror and war movies.

MUSIC
I love all types of music, except for rap. Of course the oldies bring many fond memories.

BOOKS
Nicholas sparks, VC Andrews, Janet Evanovich, and many more.

NEWS AND ANNOUNCEMENTS TO MY FRIENDS
I have begun radiation treatment. It takes me longer to drive to the cancer cancer in Hyannis than the treatment takes. I will be having 31 total treatments. These treatments are daily except for weekends.

ABOUT ME
I am a retired teacher. I taught grades 2-4 and special reading in the Town of Bourne, MA for 35 years. I started on Otis Air force Base, and finished in town at the James F.Peebles Elementary School.

WHAT I LIKE
I love music and love to dance. I love going to the theater, concerts, or listening to XM.

I love games whether they are board, card, or on the computer. My favorite board game is Super Scrabble

HOBBIES
Flower gardening, cooking, making Polish dills, travel floral crafts,knitting, crocheting, etc.

I write poetry, and maintain my web pages.

Hi Linda!


Hope you have had a good week so far, and are getting back to normal after the holidays. 


I woke up to a winter storm warning, and our schools are closed.  My school district , however is not closed, but I took the day off. I am not driving 54 miles on icy roads.  This storm is supposed to last until 11 AM tomorrow morning. Hopefully, I will not have to miss tomorrow, too! I have been anxious to get back to work.  I miss the kids when I am not there.


Are you nearly done with your treatments? I cannot remember how many more you have until you are finished. They just told me yesterday that I have a cataract on my eye, so I have to go see a specialist now to see when I get get it removed. I am legally blind in my other eye, so eye surgery worries me a little. If they goof, I will not be able to see anymore.  That is a very scary thought! Thankfully cataract surgery is relatively safe these days.


Well have a great week. I imagine you have lots of snow up there right now!
