I have not been to a movie in so long I can't remember what the last one was. I watch some on TV if they are good like PRETTY LADY, SLEEPING IN SEATTLE. MIRACLE ON 34TH STREET and a lot of the older ones.

I like the good old country music and hymns. I like to hear Alan Jackson, Vince Gill. Reba Macintire and some of the other older ones. My favorite hymns are In The Garden and Amazing Grace.

Some of my favorites are Nora Roberts, Barbarba Delinsky, Debbie MaComber. I like some mystery books also and historical novels. And of course I read my bible every day.

My favorite color is lighter shades of blue and lavender. I also like red and lighter shades of green.

I like most seafood especially shrimp, a good steak and of course I am bad for liking all good desserts. Chocolate and Lots of it.

Well winter has finally arrived here in NW Ohio. We did have a little snow on the ground for Christmas. Then we had rain and it all went away but it has been snowing off and on the last several days. We have about 2 inches so far but it has turned cold. Was 17 when I got up this morning. The cold and my old body do not get along at all so I don't go out unless I have to.
We had our Christmas with the grandkids and great grandkids at my son's on the 19th. I got to see my newest great grandson for the first time and he is a chubby little cutie. So Christmas day it was just my sons and one daughter-in-law as the other one had to work. Hope you all had a great Christmas and wish you all a great New Year.

I retired from Bowling Green State University in 1993 after being a cook in one of the dorms for 28 years. I lived on the farm where I was born and raised until 2001 when my family wanted me to move to town as I was having health problems. I had a mini stroke in 1999 and that is why as my closest neighbor was 1/4 mile from me. That is why I finally gave in and moved to town. I have 3 sons and 2 special daughter-in-laws. I have 3 grandchildren and one step one. I have 5 great-grandchildren and 2 step ones. Since 2005 I have had a lot of broken bones and also had to have both knees replaced. So now I have to walk with a cane but it could be a lot worse. At least I can get around. I have some problems getting somethings done but if I need help if they can my family will help me or I hire someone to do it.
I am very blessed to have such a great family and friends. God has looked after me in all the problems I have had. I would not have made it with out the help of our Lord.

I like to read, work in my flower gardens when I can, watch some TV, play games on the computer. I also make all my cards and the cards for my church on the computer.

I don't care for people who thinks they are better then you are or know so much more. I don't like liars or ones who are always putting other people down. I don't like anyone who abuses other people or animals.

I use to crochet and do needle point but I fell and broke both shoulders so I lost a lot of mobility in my right arm and hand so I can not do that anymore. I play hand held games and games on the computer. I like to keep up with the people I worked with by e-mail. I also read a lot. Now that I am on the hill I spend a lot of time on here. Also making all my own cards and the ones for the church.
