Favorites: What Dreams May Come, The King and I

I like a wide variety, but am especially fond of jazz and classical.

I read widely and voraciously. At the top of my favorite list is, "Lady Chatterly's Lover" by D. H. Lawrence, "Grapes of Wrath" by John Stienbeck, "Leaves of Grass" by Walt Whitman.

Periwinkle.

No contest. Blueberries and cream. Coffee and chocolate next.

I am a 44 year old woman who is the mother of four beautiful children, of which two are still in school. I am married; contentedly so most of the time, determinedly so the rest of the time. I manage a greenhouse in the spring/summer, and spend the rest of the year in artistic pursuits and in perfecting the fine art of day dreaming. I returned to college a few years ago and have yet to finish my degree because of the economy... but am plugging away at it after having been a devoted mother and homemaker for 20+ years.

One on one intellectual conversations, all visual art, abandoned buildings, old dirt roads in the country, sketching, reading, and time alone.

Group social events, too much noise, people who know-it-all, and marachino cherries.

The visual arts, writing, literature, poetry, hiking, fishing, biking.
