I was born with the rare genetic disorder "Hereditary Fructose Intolerance".(HFI)
People with this disorder do not produce the enzyme necessary to metabolize the sugar Fructose (Fruit Sugar). If I eat anything containing Fructose, Sucrose (table sugar) or Sorbitol, I become very ill. This eliminates all fruit, many vegetables, and most whole grains from my diet.

My favorite food is Macaroni and Cheese

My favorite dinner is Roast Beef, Roast Potatoes, Green or Wax Beans and Yorkshire Pudding (Popovers).

We live in a rural area about 25 miles northwest of Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

I have been married to a great lady for 48 years and we have two grown children, two grandchildren and three dogs.

I spent most of my working life in the Aerospace Industry and upon my retirement in 1998, I spent a couple of more years as a Management Consultant re Manufacturing Management Systems.

Over the years I have had many hobbies:
Riding Horses, Competing in Motor Rallies,
Photography (had my own darkroom & home studio)
Model Railroading and Camping, just to name a few.

I think we have tried every kind of camper from a small tent to a motorhome. We really do like camping!!!!! We are members of "Family Campers and RVers" (FCRV) and like to attend their rallies in our current rig.

In fact, FCRV was where my name (soundman) originated. For the ten years during the 1970's I had the task of setting up and operating the sound systems for the many events, produced in Ontario, by this organization.
