The oldies and I mean real oldies many of which I learned as a child and are still sung today because we all remember the words.

and again the list goes on. I am an avid reader, and like anything that is history or mystery related.

I am partial to blue any shade of blue and have been all of my life. I truly do like all colours, spring, summer, autumn even winter white snow all decked up with lights for the Christmas season.

I can go only so long and then I have to have my Beef fix as I call it. Roast beef and gravy or steak and a baked potato. Not much for sweets, never was. I can make them I just don't eat them.
I like most foods as long as they are not too spicey.

I am married 50 years this past February to a very dear man. We have four boys all grown to terrific young men. We have 7 grandchildren & 4 great grandchildren all of whom we treasure dearly. I love to garden and spend all of the good weather out in what I call my little piece of heaven on earth. I also volunteer on a regular basis in the community and enjoy every minute of it. I have worked from the time my cildren were old enough to be left alone until 5 years ago. At which time I was forced to retire having reached the old age of 65, little did they know what they gave up, I am still going strong.

My likes are many: Soft rain on a metal roof, bird's singing, small children at play, a roadside picnic, driving with no destination in mind to see the fall colours, sunsets, free time to spend in my garden or curl up with a good book. Entertaining seniors at the local senior residence.Fun with the Red Hat Ladies. The list goes on too many to list here.

Peole who abuse the system, abuse the elderly and frail, abuse children. Most of today's loud, noisy so called music. Liars, thieves and broken promises.

Gardening, hand quilting, knitting, punch art, embroidery, photography, anything new that comes along I like to give it a try. I guess you could say I am a crafty person. LOL
