As my username suggest, I'm still kicken. I had been working in a cabinet factory and doing that type of work for over 27 years. I say "had been" as I recently lost my job. Which at my age totally sucks!

Finally managed to find some part-time work. As a cashier which is as far from what I use to do as you could think. Now don't go getting bent out of shape as that's a perfectly fine job. Its just so different to me.


Am I close to retirement, well unless my "ship" sails up to my front door, not likely. A friend of mind keeps saying your ship will come in one day. I reminded her of the Titanic!

My dear old friend Reggie, my St. Bernard is gone now as is Kitty my 18 year old cat. I recently adopted 7 month old cat from the Humane Society, but I don't know if this going to work out. He is young and so full of himself, that I'm not sure If I have the patience for him. Time will tell.

Smiles, warm,but not hot days. Blue sky, and white puffy clouds. St. Bernards I adore. Loyal friends, good clean email jokes, Irish Cream. Classic Rock, country music, Blues, Irish tunes.

People driving with cell phones glued to their ears. Laziness. Politicians, higher prices but no higher pay. Skeeters, we import ours from Minnesota and they grow them big. Junk mail. Drunks, Judges who don't give out tougher sentences for drunk drivers.

Watching a good movie, reading, listening to music. Road trips on the weekends (before the gas prices went nuts.)
