I love blue shades in home decorating and pink in apparel. Black and Gold are my favorite sports colors!

Fruit, salad, baked potato, grilled steak in the spring & summer. Homemade bread and soup in the fall & winter! And lots of unhealthy sweets! I'm definitely not a very good influence when it comes to eating.

I'm not really much of a book reader (except the Bible) but enjoy scanning through magazines with recipes, house projects, and other interesting things.

Easy listening is my choice of music. My favorite is Enya.

Thank you all so much for your prayers. Our daughter-in-law will be having her last chemo treatment this week. She is doing very well but will have a hysterectomy as a precautionary measure because she is at high risk for cancer re-occuring. God Bless you all.

I've been married to the same guy for 47 years. (that's a whole lot of months!) lol
We have 4 grown children, 10 grandchildren, and 1 great grandchild.
My dad was a coal miner and my mom was a home maker. They had 11 children and 30 grandchildren so I have plenty of nieces and nephews!

The country, nature & God
Drinking coffee on our deck early in the morning (during the warm months of course),
Walking or riding on our nearby bike trail.
Laughing out loud
Seeing a good movie with a family member or friend.
