Hi Spinner. We are supposed to get 5 to 9 inches tomorrow. It should make for an interesting commute to and from work. I am not sure what color the blossoms will be. I had purchased a number of them for gifts, and don't remember which one this will be. As for the three blossom stalks--just lucky I guess. I haven't seen a triple stalk in a very long time. I do not yet know how many blooms will be on each stalk, as they have not yet begun to open up. Stay warm whatever you do. I plan to wear my snow suit to and from work tomorrow.

Good morning~I tried to save your background so that I can use it as wallpaper, hope it works out! Just went outside to get the paper and we're getting freezing rain and my dr office just called that they need me to reschedule as they're not opening till 10 and my appointment was for 9. Also i have an energy audit scheduled by my electric company as my bill has gone from $57 in Oct to $98 this last bill and there's only me in the house**hope they can figure what's going on! So, guess I'll go have something to eat and will talk later**write when you get a chance and I hope the storm isn't bad at your house!! God bless spinner
Hello~glad you stopped by**what color will your amaryllis blossoms be? How did you get it to produce 3 stalks, mine usually have just 2. I like the one called apple blossom because the flowers smell wonderful, i think it's the only one that's scented. Is yours a double or single blossom? They do tend to get top heavy. It's cold here today and tonight and tomorrow is suppose to be another storm, have been watching the weather on tv but don't know how much we're suppose to get. Hopefully it'll be light and fluffy like the last storm** Have a good week and write again. God bless spinner
Hello~sorry I haven't written in awhile, how were your Christmas and New Year's Day? Hi Spinner. I am taking a short break while at work. I do like to cook and bake, but am taking it easy this year. I have prepared main dishes three times the past two weeks for mini parties that I have had with friends and co-workers. Sandi cat and I are planning to spend a quiet Christmas together. I am making a ham dinner for Christmas eve. I am working, so I will celebrate Christmas eve at work. We are listening to Christmas music at work. We have one radio station that plays only Christmas music from Thanksgiving through Christmas. It's nice to be able to tune into it wherever I am. We received about two feet of snow the past two days. It is certainly beautiful.

Good morning~having a cup of tea and a homemade donut that I made yesterday, such a good time of the year for cooking and baking. I only work part time and am on call so have had lots of extra time on my hands. It sounds like you are doing really long hours where you work. Do you have Christmas day off? Just got my spiral cut ham yesterday, are you having anyone over for Christmas dinner? There will be 7 or 8 people here. Plan to have the tree with family before everyone else gets here. We have a lot of snow here too, last storm we got a foot over 24 hours. It is very pretty though and have been taking some pictures. Hi Sunny. It's been a while since I stopped in to say hi. You have a lovely Christmas page. I am curently at work--it's a peaceful night here in the blood bank--no vampire's around asking for blood. We are thawing out from the ice storm. I am one of the lucky ones--I have power. Some of my friends and one of my brothers still don't have power. I am looking forward to my first Christmas in Vermont. It should be really nice. My co-workers and I are having a dinner party at work on Wednesday. It's my day off, so I get to bring a hot dish. Hi! The background picture is Lake Winnepesakie. I visited Castle in the clouds last year and took the picture overlooking lake Winne from there. We still have a few inches of snow left, and lots of ice. Several of my co-workers remain without power. I have been fortunate, as my power returned only a few hours after it went off. It certainly has been pretty. I am quiet night tonight here in the DHMC blood bank. Good for the patients. A little slow for me. I am checking out the "Hill" while incubating a sample. So glad that you wrote back**That's why I recognized the picture, my husband and I often vacationed there in fact in July of 2007 we were there the week of July 4th and spent a nice quiet week doing a little fishing and relaxing, he slept a lot, we went on the cruise and watched the fireworks even tho it was rainy. On Sept1st he passed away in my arms here at home**Cancer is an awful awful disease and sometimes I miss him so much!! Our sons joined us for a few days and went to the Castle in the clouds and loved it but I haven't gone there yet. We've been talking about going up to that area next summer tho* I really hope that you'll write again, would you like to be friends? Maybe I'll contact your mom later today on her page if I get a chance. God bless spinner

I dreamed it was Christmas Eve, and while waiting for a green light I noticed the manger scene on the church lawn. It's all so overwhelming, this Christmas business, I thought. The shopping and singing and partying and gift-wrapping and Santa Claus and Jesus. I feel wonderful then guilty then joyful then confused. God help me, I thought.
