I enjoy your page so much for many reasons. The colors remind me of my mom as they are her favorite colors and I love the song Only Time by Enya. Thank you for stopping by and I am sorry you didn't make it to the movies. Maybe next time you try to go it will be cooler. Everything here is covered with ice. I have coil wires on the bottom of one of my pairs of shoes so I could go to my friend's house two doors away for morning coffee. You can walk on ice and be totally safe. I hope you have a nice day and night my dear friend. I hope you can stay cool. Take care, Love and hugs,
Joyce
Hello Zuki, I did not get to the pictures today as it was just too hot to go out again. I did go to the supermarket about 9 am then scuttled home...I hate the heat. It got to about 35 C (about 94 or 5) I just stayed inside and put the air con on. It is still about 30C and it is now 7 pm. I am about to go out to get the washing as I do think it will be dry!!! Must also put some water on some of the plants....I like our winter, it does not snow, only a very little, and we have lots of frosts and a bit of rain....need more rain. We have had below average rainfall for years....oh, well, that seems to be how the earth is going....weather forcasters say a change is in for tomorrow with a little rain, then staying about mid twenties (around 70) for a week before it heats up again...I can cope with that....Enjoy your week....Lynda
Tell ya what, Lynda, I'll TRADE YA !!!! LOL...There is snow on the ground here. And I hate winter ! Maybe we should do a 'time share'? You can come here when it's summer there, and I'll swap with you. LOL LOL LOL ! When I am super hot, and want to cool off, I put my feet in a bucket of cool water, or take a cool bath or shower. If you sit in a bathtub of cool water, you cool off 'like RIGHT NOW'. Of course, you can't sit in the tub all day, but it's sure refreshing while you can. LOL. Such a shame about your drought. Certain areas of Texas have drought conditions too, but here in the midwest we had the wettest year in history last year. There seems to be no 'Moderatiion' any more. Mother Nature is either at one extreme or another. (Maybe 'SHE' is in her menopause ? LOL ) Hot flashes and cold chills. LOL LOL LOL.... OR it COULD be PMS (premenstrual syndrome) too. WHATEVER IT IS, I wish she'd get over it QUICKLY ! We are ALL getting tired of her MOODS ! LOL LOL LOL Have a great day, and hope you get to a good movie soon. hugzzzzz......z
Hi lovey, yep Mother Nature is certainly having a hormone problem....wouldn't it be lovely, if we had heaps of money to just spend a week or so with all our Hill friends at different times of the year.....or just pop over for a cuppa and a real chat and a hug......that would be lovley. There are some really dry places in many parts of the world and we here are still lucky to have reserves of water. Climate change is a worry though. You sometimes wonder about what the pollies are doing.....That is deep enough for today....have a great day....big hugs...Lynda
Good morning from the land of ice and snow. This global warming thing is a real puzzle. WARM ? Not HERE ! Not NOW ! Maybe I should check with Al Gore. He seems to think he knows all about it. But he's probably too busy RE-Inventing HIS internet ! LOL LOL LOL... I learned how to put music on my page yesterday. I'm really tickled about that. Have stuff to do today on the computer that isn't play, tho. So I'd best move on. Hope your day is super....hugzzz.....z
Hi Lynda. I think when you saw white on the side of my testing page it is because you may have a larger monitor than I do. I only used a 1024 resolution. I'm not geting the toolbar at the top of this comment page. It could be to many graphics. Go to Forum and then Help with the Hill. Sonjia
Lynda, LAST year, you wrote, "I am very patient, I need to be, I have a son who is an Aquarius and they are always right! And a hubby who sits and thinks about something for hours before he then decides if he will do it or not...aaarrrggghhh!!"
Well, now...I've been chuckling to myself ever SINCE last year whenever I remember your remark. In fact, I called to my husband and read it to HIM, too, because he is similar in that way and knows it. "Aaaaarrrggghhh", indeed! : -)
Your new blue/green cool color scheme makes me feel as though I'm looking at seaweed or some sort of underwater growth. Of course, I'm inhabiting the bottom of a deep blue sea this month, so my eyes are seeing everything from under water. Thanks for making me feel right at home while visiting your page.
What a great Tshirt.....web pages are great.....mine reflects who I am too....all over the place!!! I just like everything and like changing the page...it is a lot of fun.....thanks for the nice comment....I like to smile at people as mostly they smile back, I meet interesting people when I say hallo and pretend I have mistaken them for someone else...am I a naughty little thing or what??

A webpage can be "you" in a static sense or it can mirror what is going on either in your life at the time or, apart from that, in your mind, for the moment. It's also a fun way of learning new things and it sometimes seems like there's no end to what you and your computer can do, as a team. I think that computers are a little bit like a "Tardis", you know? They can take us anywhere the human imagination can go. And if there is a unifying force in this world, it surely is the world wide web.

Thank You ! I guess I just 'got lucky', because I'm certain my page doesn't merit such a distinction. LOL....hugzzzzz.....zuki
Hello thanks for stopping by. And thank you for liking my blog....I do ramble on sometimes. It is nice to be able to do what you want to without a timeline...sometimes....! I am taking myself to the pictures tomorrow morning. The past two days have been warm and tomorrow the same I think, so a nice cool theatre is just the job. I will park the car in the underground car park so it will stay cool too. That is the plan for the moment anyway. I am not sure how they pick pages to feature. I think it is random to encourage people. It is nice to be made a fuss of though and you meet lots of folk too....Enjoy the rest of you week...
I hope you enjoyed your day at the 'nice cool theatre'. Sounds like a nice way to spend a hot afternoon. If you want coooool, come visit us ! It's only 20 F here now. Thankfully the snow melted when we had a few warmish days last week. But there are piles of dirty ice all along the curbings where the snowplows pushed all the heavy wet snow that WAS there. Once it packs in, it insulates itself, and probably won't melt til spring now. UGH ! I could very well do with NO WINTER at all. I guess I'll have to MOVE out of the area to do that tho.And I doubt that will ever happen. LOL. hugzzzzzzzzz...zuki
Hi, new profile pic....great. Cool page too. I am still making up my mind about my page...still changing it, I like it one day then I hate it...and the colours....but then that is what it is all about...change...have a great week...and...
Hiya Lynda, my page is (what I loosely call) "designed" to focus on the subjects of my essays. As I branch out to other subjects, the page will change to reflect whatever is entailed in the new projects, not necessarily movies, maybe books or newspaper articles, opinions, anything really. A blogger from way back on other social network sites, in essence, what I'm doing, I guess, is blogging on my page and it will change fairly often. I see it as a kind of canvas to sketch ideas onto .. and it's an unending work in progress *smiles*.
Hi Lynda,
I hope you enjoyed going to the movies and that you have a good night. Today I will get all of the laundry done and just relax. My weekend was pretty busy with the hospital vists and my grandon being here. But I did have fun. Hope you have a great week my dear friend.
Hugs,
Joyce
