I hope your family got home without any problems. I can imagine how you worry, I worry about mine going back and forth and they're local...lol. Well here we go again with another storm, supposed to start tonight. I think we've had our share already and it's only just getting started.
I've been working on my page and it's got me crazy, I can't decide what I want so I've been grabbing a little bit of everything. I want to keep it simple but I think it's taking me over. When you make your next visit, wear your hard hat because you never know what you might run into...lol.
Well my friend, have a wonderful night and I look forward to your next visit. Hugs to you.
Good Morning, Diane. It's an icy morning here. I think it actually has gone up above freezing now so maybe it will melt. I have an annual check up at the doctor's today so have to go out. I don't want to cancel it because it takes a long time to get another.
I know you must be lonesome with your family gone. Mine all live pretty close by. My son, David who lives in Ft. Plain is the farthest away right now. One daughter lives close to an hour away but I can go visit any of them at anytime. I'm glad of a little quiet time. I loved the holidays but it was very hectic. I finally got all my decorations put away yesterday and everything looks kind of bare but I left a few snowmen around here and there. After all, it will be winter for awhile.
The grandkids went back to school today after two weeks of vacation, however the schools were delayed for two hours because of the ice.
I'm looking forward to our three weeks in Florida but it does present a problem with my dog. He's my "baby" and I would never leave him in a kennel. My cousin is going to take him for a week and then one of daughter's will take him for a couple of weeks. The problem is that all my kids have animals also so I hate to ask them to take another dog but they're good about it. I just worry about him .
I just looked out and the roads look pretty good so guess I should be on my way. Have a good day. Have a cup of coffee for me. Judy
Diane hello ! I know what you mean. We get all excited around christmas time. All the christmas movies and commericals and then the day after nothing about christmas. You do get kind of a let down. Then you take your christmas decorations down which always is a hard one for me. Everything is so pretty. I am with you about the let down. But it will go away. You have a great evening and a great new year!!! Hugs!!!Pat
I have been to your city many times over the years, Likes Brooks there, and traveling down Rt 7, You have a very nice site here.... Happy New Years Starry
We are having a snow storm here today and there is up to 7 inches expected, needless to say I am staying in and loving it...lol. I assume that you are also getting some snow, being in the Catskills. I wish you a safe and Happy New Year, may 2009 bring good health and happiness to you and your family. God Bless.
