Hi twin! Not overly cold here. Almost 8 p.m. and -5 with light snow. We sure have lots and lots of snow though. Don't know where B is gunna put it this winter. I have a large snow slide in the backyard now! Expecting to meet my new neighbours soon. Haven't seen them yet and they took possession 2 days ago. Sure will miss the lady that was there. Busy with Red Cross and Jam stuff. Tomorrow night is our 6th Anniversary of the group. Party planned and should be loads of fun. Prizes, pizza and snacks and of course great music. Should be lots of fun. Wanna come? I'll swing by and pick you up on my way there. Be ready early.... Sidekick
Hi Sue, I hope you're having a good day ... we're having everything except sunshine ... snow, sleet, freezing rain, wind ... YUK! I'm hibernating. God bless, Jan
I know what you mean about trying to get caught up, I have been a bit lazy the last couple of days.
It has been quite cold here the last while and today, I just stayed in and did a few things around the house. This afternoon had a visit from my daughter and grandson.
Nothing much going on here today. I finally get a day to myself to sit and relax and I'm rather enjoying the peace and quiet. Hope you have a great day. Hugs~Deb
Hi Nama, thank you for stopping by. It's always good to hear from you and that you are well. I hope it's not too cold for you in beautiful Ontario. It's cold over here this week with a little bit of snow. Have an enjoyable week.
We didn't get as much snow as they predicted thank goodness. But it did drift in places. It took my husband hours yesterday to blow snow, but then again, he does the young neighbors next door, and he goes down the main sidewalk of our whole block on our side!!
It is cold here this morning though, thank goodness for the lake...winter that is, because we are much warmer by the lake this morning, only -12f....inland it is like -20 and colder.
We are taking advantage of a clear day, I think it is clear, still a little dark out, and going to Duluth to pick up our new beds and do a little shopping at Walmart.
Just thought I'd send a quick note to thank you for your lovely blessings and wishes over the new year celebrations. I finally got my decorations put away yesterday - seems to take so much longer to pack away that to unpack. I don't envy you and all that snow as I hate the cold wintery weather. I'm a heat freak and am really enjoying the fantastic warm days that we are getting at the moment.
I've had a great new year and hope you all did too. I'm looking forward to the challenges and adventures that the new year holds. I am off to Aussie on the 7th for a ten day visit with my dear friends Andy and Karene. We plan just to blob out and relax - I might catch up on some recreational reading as I haven't had an opportunity to do much of that over the past year - and I do hope to spend some time on the hill while I'm there.
Anyway better get a move on and send this. Thinking of you often.
Hey Sue!! So your son and family live in my old hometown?? That's so amazing how small a world we share! My mom, step-dad and brother, as well as various aunts and uncles still live in Saskatoon. What part of the city does your son live in? That's too funny!!
Take care, and all the best to you in '09!

Hi Sugar. I'm having a great time in Saskatoon at my son & d/law's. I have a few moments to answer my messages.
Stopping by to say good night to my friends. Hope you have a good week coming up and don't stress too much over the new computer. It will all come in due time. Just think how much you got done on the old one.
