Hi Clydene. Can you imagine - here I am. I'm going to try to update my page a bit. How are you feeling? I'm not feeling too well today, have a little infection but going to the Dr. tomorrow and I'm sure all will be OK. I miss you. I do try to keep in touch by email but don't get on here too much. Love you just the same. Talk to you soon.
Sunday was a good basketball day for me. The Kentucky Wildcats won in double OT, the Ohio State Buckeyes won very convincingly, and last but not least, my NBA team, the Cavaliers beat the Celtics. A very good day for me.Another yucky day here. Overcast and the high only going to 49 and rain later in the day.
Nearly dark here, the sky was a glorious pink, south, west and north. Only the east and straight above wasn't pink. Faded quickly too, I happened to go out to shut the gate at exactly the right time to see it. Almost like an aurora but not quite.
I've looked at the stars more than I used to and have come to the conclusion that they're brighter and more abundant in America than here, or perhaps it's my eyes, I don't see half of what a normal person can see.
I'll be around in the morning, it's bills and banking day and I prefer to avoid the lunch hour for both, when half the staff are away and we can't get served.
Hope things are going well for you, I'm sending you my latest graphic, not that it's very appropriate at this time of day or more likely evening at your place.
I'll be in and out for ages yet and I check my email frequently.
We just went to the supermarket, couldn't shop earlier because it's changed from Woolworths to Countdown, but think the same company owns it. Anyway we got 5% discount due to the mess they made of changing over.
You have a real talent for finding beautiful b/g pictures. I love anything with water in it. Love the pretty trees too.
How are you today, hope you're well, happy and busy. It's still dark here at 6.45 but daylight saving will end at Easter and we'll have a bit more light in the mornings for a few weeks. And we won't have any at night. Can't win. There is no escaping winter.
Today, Monday, we will buy our weekly magazine and I'll do the puzzles. Keeps me mentally alert, at least that's the idea.
This morning I tried to put a graphic somewhere from my Smileycons folder and it wouldn't go, so I switched to Ditto. It's great having Ditto as a backup, I'll try Smileys again in here and if it still isn't cooperating I'll use good ole Ditto. There are different codes for them, unfortunately. And every time I use Smiley it leaves an entry in Ditto which I have to keep clearing out.
Wishing you a great day. I suppose your day is half over. See you later, Love Barb.
Have a good day tomorrow my friend. Love You Clydene
Thank you! We are heading out for a birthday dinner, I am looking forward to a night out on the town, lol, well, we will be home before 7, does that count as a night on the town?
Well, it warmed up a bit, but it wasn't a warm day really. We got our bit of shopping done, and a few chores outside. We sorted out some clothes for the opportunity shop, but haven't taken them there yet. We have to start looking at our winter wardrobe before it's time to start wearing them.
I have 4 monarch chrysalises at the moment, which is more than I originally intended to keep. Still more to come, I just don't seem to be capable of leaving the little caterpillars outside for the predators to kill.
Wishing you a good night, see you tomorrow, I'm going offline in a minute.
Good Morning Barb, I imagine that you have been up for a while. I've already been to town, spent my money, and wore myself out. Came home cooked Dinner and cleaned my kitchen. Now my recliner and the heat pad are calling me. It is again cold, windy, and cloudy here. See You Later on. Love You
Hi Clydene
Wow, you've already been to town! Well I guess that figures, it's already 9am here. I have done Snap, that is I've changed the default desk, but I want to do some editing of the Forum entries when I get a minute. Dianne has added an interesting Forum post.
I have also fixed the birds for the day, had brekkie and done the dishes and made the bed, and cleaned up after the caterpillars, and most importantly I've read the weekly Cloud8 newsletter. Also posted a question, but I understand that not everyone's question can be answered.
Now at last I'm attending to my Inbox and GuestBook messes.
Such a pleasure to see this lovely b/g again, always did like it, which is why I snagged it hee hee.
I'm working on a new one for kbtest, won't need it for a while, I'm planning on putting my blue/purple one back after the 17th.
At some stage today we have to go up the street, waiting until it warms up a bit, was a real autumn cold morning and our house is needing heaters, one gas and one electric are on at the moment.
Have a great afternoon, see you soon, I better read the blogs too,
