It has been quite a while since I climbed up the Hill. So long that I have quite forgotten  just where I should post this. And so I hope that it is read by you all.        Today is my 83rd birthday, and I give thanks to Sophisticat..Kiwibarb...Refid....Homeboy...Keejac...Greenputter...Mouse and Paraspet, for the greetings sent to me....I used to visit the Hill so frequently a couple of years back to speak about my lovely doggy friend Sheba.    Since she passed into doggy spirit my journies up the Hill  have diminished.....But then... I do not have her to pull me up the Hill.   Neverthe less you are not forgotten, and again I thank you all for taking time to wish me Happy Birthday......May G-D bless you all..

It must be three years or so since I last "blogged".....I hope that those of you who celebrate had a wonderful Easter.  I have returned to the Hill because on March 30th it will be FIVE years since my lovely Sheba had to be put down....She is still missed each and every day, and I cannot go to bed until I have patted and kissed the box containing her ashes.   Knowing that I sorely missed Sheba, and realising that it is alas difficult for me to walk as far as I used to with her, my lovely children Marc and Karen bought me a budgie complete with a large cage. I named the Budgie "Baby"......  "Teach him to speak and he will be great company for you ", said Karen......And so I did not stop speaking to Baby...and whistling too.......Over two years later..Baby, sings, and whistels all day. But not the "wolf whistle" I have been plying him with.....Talk ?? you are kidding ....Not a word ....or as the cockneys would say "Not a dickie bird"......Apart from the TV AND aany visitors , Mine is rhe only voice to be heard in this home...BUT>>>>Baby's contant singing is a joy to my ears...  I did try to take him for a walk to the park that I took Sheba...But do you know that little bird kept slipping out of the collar that I still have of Sheba's . So I had to give up with the walking.    Walking is for the Birds, as they say .

I am so very lucky to have a most wonderful daughter and her partner Kevin....Kevin's parents passed into the spirit world and they have inherited the lovely bungalow that was there home....They now want me to move from this Housing Association flat , to the bungalow...So m uch more room than the single living room, bedroom, and kitchen I have now...And Again I will have , after over twelve years a lovely little garden and patio to sit in.....The move will be with the next few weeks......No real rush and I have anyway to give one month's notice.

Good to be back on the Hill, and I hope that I will make more effort to come again.....   I would have inserted a photo of Baby...BUT I have no idea how to do this on NOTH......BARB .... HELP PLEASE.
