mother nature photo: mother nature a69076ce.jpg That's a picture of Mother Nature and it would appear that she has fallen asleep instead of taking care of business. Spring is for flowers not snow...and here on coastal Mass. we are going to get around 5" of snow starting right now. I can see it out the window coming down in big flakes. I mean, I don't have to shovel any snow and wouldn't at my age but I know those who can are getting weary. Plus I don't drive in this weather so I guess I can plan on being in the house...still....for a few days more. I have plenty of movies to watch but that's not good..a regular couch potato for sure is what I'm getting to be..couch potato photo: ME ist2_809061_couch_potato.jpgLet's Hope Mother Nature wakes up soon and start making some changes...for the better. We live near the Foothills of the Canadian Rockies, and we never know when we will get yet another blast of winter, even when the calendar says that it is now Spring. We have lots of complainers around here too ... but I don't seem to see what good all the "griping" does for us. Mother Nature will continue to do what she sees fit!


I pour myself a cup of coffee, put on some great music or grab a book, and open the drapes to watch the blowing snow. I'm thankful that I have a warm house and food in the pantry. Things will eventually change, and then we'll have other things to complain about ... it's too hot, there's not enough rain, there's too much rain, why is it always cooler on the weekends, and ... the wind is messing my hair!!!


Can you tell that I grew up on a farm?

Spring is long overdue, if you ask me!  LOL  It has to come soon...so just hang in there!

We're expecting a little more snow this week-end. Papa is sure getting tired a messing with it! But, it seems, the states around Iowa get a lot more than we do. We sure feel for them.
