A productive day today. I went to my primary Dr. for the annual checkup and passed with flying colors. He asked me the list of questions that they go through and asked if I had any trouble remembering things and I said "of course I do...I'm 82".He grinned and asked if it ever got out of hand and I just shook my head no. I said even my kids have "senior moments". Then he said he was going to tell me 3 words and would come back to them after a few moments. The words were "table, apple, penny" which I had learned last year from a neurologist when I was having the head buzzing thing. So of course when he asked me the 3 words later on and I just spit them out 1, 2, 3. he said, good. So, my daughter who was there said I had them memorized from the previous experience with the neurologist ..he just laughed and said it was a universal test...he thought they were used so it would be easier for Dr.s to remember. So, I said that while I was in rehab after my knee replacement a year ago the words they used there were bed, sock and blue...so he just let me know that that was another group often used. I passed anyway. See you in 6 months he said.
