"Flying On A Cloud"
I wish that I could,
Fly on a cloud.
Enjoy the blue skies,
As we’re twirling around.
I would plan a picnic,
For me and my friends.
As we’re laughing and giggling,
Again and again.
Then we'd look around,
And wave to Mother Earth.
High above blue plains,
Showing its beauty and worth.
We would wave to the birds,
As they flew past our cloud.
And give thanks to the time,
That we were allowed..
To fly close to the Heavens,
With our picnic and wine.
On our own private cloud.
We’d have such a good time!

"Rubber Bands"
Why are we frightened
Of Rubber Bands?
Is it because they pop
And sting our hands.
Is it because they stretch,
From side to side.
But how far do they stretch,
Then pop us by surprise?
Rubber Bands are good,
To have around.
Sometimes they’re handy,
To holding things down.
Sometimes they’re good,
In keeping things together.
They wrap ‘round the wrist,
Getting tighter and tighter.
Rubber Bands will be around,
For quite awhile.
So we must be patient,
And not consider them vile.
