Howdy, howdy, howdy, how are you today? Very fine I hope and are you ready to play once again? I sure hope so, cause this group is rocking again, with another contest and its just about to begin! The Halloween holiday turned out to be a blast, Alan and I enjoyed it so much, that we've decided to do it again, thats right, another contest for all members to jump right into. Lets start this contest, with one thought in mind. How do you see Alan and myself? Well show us, with a Thanksgiving graphic, that will be displayed on the home page of the group. Lets makes it funny and crazy, we expect to see some great things, here I've done a couple, let me show you what I mean. Now these are from general ideas, that run through my mind and bits of information that shows up from time to time, watch;  &  or maybe you don't see us as turkeys, gobble gobble hahahahaha, maybe you picked up on something posted in the group like this to show what you see us portrayed;

Now I was wondering why this pumpkin was in stitches, so I ask him, what was so funny, this is what I heard;
What did one jack-o-lantern say to the other?
" CUT IT OUT"
Now this guy needs no introduction, Casper, we know him by sight and name, again hes full of smiles, so I ask him why? and he said, Katie, why do jack-o-lanterns have stupid smiles on their faces? I said Casper, tell me why, lol and Casper smiled and said; " You'd have a stupid smile too, if you had all your brains scooped out!
Did ya get a chuckle out of these first two entries, sent to Alan and myself for the dress up the home page for Halloween. This is just a sample of whats to come, won't you run on over and catch every graphic and joke and music and everything else that might pop up? This is the first day we are displaying the members graphics and wanted you to see, what a great bunch of members we have on the hill, in the XP&VISTA, Tips and Tricks Group! I belong to the XP&VISTA, Tips and Tricks Group, with one of the most extraordinaire moderators, I have the priviledge to meet and thats Alan. Right now, XP&VISTA, Tips and Tricks Group has a contest going on, asking members to send a pumpkin graphic right along to Alan or myself, then chosen graphics will be Featured on the Groups home page, until Halloween comes upon us on the 31rst of october when witches, ghost and gobblins, pumpkins and lanterns howl and scream cuts loose. Good morning everyone. What a great new start to a new week. Do you know what holiday is approaching? Its that famous world wide Trick or Treat, Halloween of course, lol Now Alan and I have been thinking, which is a dangerous event, lol but never the less we're at it, all the time. How about another contest? Are you up to it? Do you mind? Of course not and this one is so simple and promises to bring some laughs, cheer and originality to the XP&VISTA, Tips and Tricks, Group. Here is a hint; 
Check out this graphic! ok, what do you see? Is that Alan in his coveralls or is it me, under that hat? Now look further, look at what else is on that graphic, YOUR'E RIGHT, PUMPKINS, YEAH! Now how would the members of XP&VISTA, Tips and Tricks like to decorate the home page for the up coming Halloween? Are you getting the picture yet? Its your group, its you the members that make this group what it is, a fun, learning filled group that just won't quit, so what we're going to ask you to do is easy and fun. Find a pumkin graphic, that you think is oh so cool, send it to Alan or myself in a private message, label it, "My Entry for Home Page Contest " Thats it! simple, I told you so. Now start sending those pumpkin graphics right away, you have until October 12th to get your entry to us. Alan and myself will choose the ones that tickle our fancy. Each one we choose will be captioned showing who submitted that entry. Sounds fair enough. The prize for this competition is for the pumpkins to be featured on the groups home page, your selection that you sent to Alan and myself and FEATURED on our Holiday Pages for Halloween. Heart warming and Gratifying, is the words I have to use to explain to all of our members on the ending of this past contest.

Wow! What a start to a Sunday morning... I am rendered virtually speechless or as Cilla Black was known to utter way back in the 60's "I'm Gobsmacked".
I'm not even sure now what we were playing to win, but really I only entered for the fun of it and to see if I did know as much as I thought I did...
Now, what I would like to do if my friend and fellow member would accept, is to give my prize to Nanzee6 (Nance) who so unselfishly stepped down from the competition so as to fill in for Katie when that dear lady was recently confined to the hospital and in need of our prayers.

It seems as if members from this group are truly heaven sent, when it comes to being special.

Alan and I are going to take you to places you've never been and hear the sounds that will trigger your mind to arc with the correct answers we are seeking. But first we thought it would be awesome to let you members know, that your not alone in your struggle to find those correct answers, so here we go, a few of Star Wars characters have just stopped by to wish you luck, have a great day, and remind you that "The Force will be with you" 
  
  A star studded course is here to wish you all the luck that the force can bring you, pretty neat, I'd say, so how about if we get underway.
Starting this Sunday, September 20th, there will be 5 questions posted on the groups home page, all you have to do is correctly answer those 5 questions and send your answers to Alan or myself. Sounds easy? Of course it will be. The DEADLINE for the answers to be sent in will be Saturday evening, September 26th. The entries will be tallied and posted on the groups home page. Now for the mystery to unfold, you the members will select 1 person out of the posted list of winners, JUST ONE, "EXCLUDING " yourself. You cannot cast a vote for yourself. Now again send your vote to Alan or myself, these should be selected on the same day as the posted winners are posted on by Alan and myself, which will be September 27nth, Sunday. After all the votes are cast by you members, On OCTOBER,04,2009 the winner chosen by you, will be announced and posted on the XP&VISTA, Tips and Tricks Group home page. There will be a selection of 3 prizes for the winner to choose of their choice, furnished by Alan. I will show what each choice will be, you can go and check them out and see which one you would like to have if chosen to be our winner from our contest entitled, " How Well Do You Know The Hill " Now for those of you, who do not belong to the XP&VISTA, Tips and Tricks Group, what are you waiting for, this contest is certainly worth you running right over to the group and signing up. We'd love to see you there. On my next page there will be a list of the prizes, check them out, this is exciting, in my mind there is no doubt, that one person will be so happy when they win.
