All movies that make me laugh. I really enjoy animated movies as there is very little vulgarity and no sex. Sexual is ok but leave the sex off the screen. Gives us something to imagine. I enjoy action without violence, chick flicks, and dramas.

New country. Something you can understand the words to.

Anything except historical - including romances.

I love the colour yellow. To me it represents a sunny day filled with health, hope and happiness.

ribs and fresh fish.

I am 62 years old. 17 years ago I was diagnosed with Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis (IPF). IPF causes the outside of the lungs to harden so getting oxygen to muscles and tissue becomes near impossible. In 2002 I was placed on transplant list for a double lung transplant. I was on oxygen 24/7. After 5 years on the waiting list I was given less than 6 months to live. I (we) were asked if I would consider a living donor lobar transplant. That is when a lobe from 2 different peoples lungs would be removed from them and "replumbed" to become my full lungs. I have 2 sons. Each were a match tissue, blood, antibodies, etc. On April 26, 2005 my sons gave me a lobe of their lungs so I could live and breathe again. That was 11 years ago and all of us are fine and doing great.

I love to travel. Both short trips and faraway trips. Because we live in the land of ice & snow we inevitably head south for a much needed break in the winter.
My husband is now retired so this year we will spend 6 months in sunny Palm Springs, CA. We love to golf so usually combine that in our trips.
I love to make new friends.

People who feel sorry for themselves.

Since my transplant I do alot of public speaking about organ and tissue donation and how it gives life to so many people. Can't get along without my computer so I never think of that as a hobby.
