Are you managing to keep dry? What awful weather. How was work today? Did you have any trouble with the flooding? It is such a mess out there. I feel so sorry for all those people getting flooded again. I am so glad I live on a hill. I have had a busy few days. Lots of stuff happening so haven't been able to get online much. I really like those black & white pics!  What a cutie-pie you were! I enjoy looking at those phtos of days gone by.  Brings up all sorts of thoughts & emotions.

Busy all day and this is my first chance to get on the computer and it is late in the day. Just finished making chocolate chip, coconut, oatmeal bar cookies. They are very good, still warm and the house smells heavenly. I just have to finish up dinner so I think I will say....

Just thought I'd send a quick note to thank you for your lovely blessings and wishes over the new year celebrations.

I've had a great new year and hope you all did too. I'm looking forward to the challenges and adventures that the new year holds. I am off to Aussie on the 7th for a ten day visit with my dear friends Andy and Karene. We plan just to blob out and relax - I might catch up on some recreational reading as I haven't had an opportunity to do much of that over the past year - and I do hope to spend some time on the hill while I'm there.

Anyway better get a move on and send this. Thinking of you often.
