The weekend is here. Are you ready for Thanksgiving? We have a couple of things on our schedule for next week and then on the 30th, I start working about 4 days a week in December. So please don't give up if I'm not here as much.
Are you having Pumpkin Pie or Pecan Pie or Apple Pie or some other desert for Thanksgiving? We usually get Pumpkin but this year we are getting Pecan.
Guess I had better get ready for some football... college football that is. Hope you have a wonderful and a blessed weekend!

Good afternoon. How is your day going? Mine has been productive. Went to Walmart this morning and got groceries. Now I'm doing the laundry. That will do it for today. These days are flying by anymore.I'm excited for Thanksgiving as all 3 of my kids will be here and my two grandsons also. Will make for a great day. And we will be meeting with my husbands family for the noon meal. Lots of people to see. Hope you have a good Thanksgiving next week. Cant believe its only a week away. Hi Cheryl I Had a nice day here in northwestern Iowa..It got to around 65º they were predicting 70 but it wasn't that sunny out to get that warm. I did go out and get some fresh air before having supper. Tomorrow it will be much chillier and normal temps for us..I would like the warmer temps but Not in Iowa we live where we get all for seasons. I like your thanksgiving page...Hugs Patti

Hi, Cheryl! Nice day here, too, but the days are definitely getting cooler. Trees turned a bit later this year as it stayed warm so long, but we've had a few frosty mornings and the trees are very pretty.

Where oh where did the weekend go? I really think I got lots done and then I look at my list and wonder, "just what did I do?"

Today is one of those days, not because of rain but because we started at 35 again today. This is already the third time this month. I am ready for spring, for flowers to emerge and bloom, and warm temperatures.
How many days until Spring? At least I haven't had to turn the heat on yet. But my windows are not open either.
So here I sit dreaming of the future. Guess I had better get up and enjoy every minute of the day and celebrate Saturday with you.

We had a good 'ole Texas thunderstorm last night with LOTS of lightning and thunder with wind and pouring down rain. It only lasted 15-40 minutes depending on where you live in the metroplex but it dumped an inch or more of rain.
Guess what it left behind? That's right, lots of leaves to pick up, rake, or mulch with the mower. It also left us with cooler temperatures again.
My son's friend Paul, passed away yesterday. I just want to say "Thanks for your prayers". I am thankful my son got into Paul's room at the hospital to visit with his family.
