hello, hope all is well with you. i got a text yesterday saying michigan was making it mandatory to wear a mask when out, which i have been doing since this whole thing started. i just wish others would listen to this and abide by it. maybe then this terrible virus would finally leave. sorry for venting it just really bothers me when i see so many people who seem not to care. wishing you a very nice summer day...hugs..marykay
President Jimmy Carter was a peanut farmer. President George H.W. Bush didn't eat broccoli. President Bill Clinton occasionally ate junk food. President Ronald Reagan liked jelly beans and ice cream!
In 1984 President Ronald Reagan designated July as National Ice Cream Month.
National Ice Cream Month is held every year in July throughout the United States.
President Reagan also named the third Sunday in July as National Ice Cream Day.
President Reagan stated that these two events should be observed with "appropriate ceremonies and activities."
In the U.S. 90% of the nation's population consumes ice cream...
I scream, you scream, We all 'SCREAM' for ice cream!

Wishing you sunny days, warm nights filled with God's peace love light joy and radiant blessings!
Happy ice cream month!

Psalm 128:1-4 Blessed are all who fear the Lord, who walk in obedience to him. You will eat the fruit of your labor; blessings and prosperity will be yours. Your wife will be like a fruitful vine within your house; your children will be like olive shoots around your table. Yes, this will be the blessing for the man who fears the Lord.
HI SUSAN, WOW, YOU HAD SUCH A HARD TIME WITH YOUR KNEE. I AM SO SORRY. THAT WAS AWFUL FOR YOU. I SURE HOPE YOU GET BETTER EVERY DAY. THIS VIRUS HAS REALLY MESSED THINGS UP. I HAVEN'T GOT MY THERAPY YET BECAUSE OF IT. I FINALLY GO JULY 7TH BUT WE HAVE MORE VIRUS CASES IN OUR TOWN SO I'M CONCERNED ABOUT GOING. WE HAVE ONLY HAD ONE CHURCH SERVICE IN OVER THREE MONTHS. I MISS CHURCH SO MUCH. HAVE TO BE SO CAREFUL WHEN YOU ARE OLDER. CAN'T TAKE A CHANCE OF GETTING THE VIRUS. HAVE A HAPPY 4TH OF JULY. HUGS, SHIRLEY XOXO
good morning, wanted to stop by and wish you a peaceful tuesday. going to be in the 90's here today. did all my running around yesterday, so staying inside with the ac today, hope your day goes well...hugs...mk
I did a lot of exercises when I had my knee replacement. I did it long passed the time I was suppose to quit. I went to therapy and paid for a while. I really liked the equipment and I really wanted to make that leg strong. It has been almost 20 years since I had it done. I need my left knee done but it is too painful to even think about and I am going to have to have my right hip replaced. But I am going to put off all surgeries as long as I can because I am too old for surgery. lol lol lol... When I talked to the doctor, we talked about trying to not have surgery. I hate having to take pain medication but you have to have it and thank God we do have it. How long has it been since the surgery? How man month? Did they teach you how to do stairs? That having to teach yourself was a bummer. Have a safe happy day. It is very hot here.. Going to be extremely hot all week. love, shirley xooxox

Attracting over 1.4 million visitors annually, Keukenhof Gardens is one of the Netherlands’ top destinations. Seven million flower bulbs are planted in the garden’s 32 hectares by 40 gardeners each year, and in the spring the entire landscape erupts in a colorful explosion of yellow daffodils, fragrant hyacinths and gorgeous tulips. Open for an eight-week period between March and May every year, the Keukenhof Gardens can be accessed by bus from Amsterdam Airport Schiphol, or via car and bike from the nearby town of Lisse.
Oh my goodness Susan, I am so sorry for all that happened to you. so sorry for the loss of your mom and then losing your baby furbaby. Wow, when it rains it pours. I know all about knee replacement pain as I had one in 2001 and I will never forget the pain and I didn't have my left knee done and it needs it. Also, since I last talked to you I need a hip replacement and now my back is hurting again and I believe it is a pinched nerve again. I had pinched nerve surgery in 2018. I am suppose to go to therapy now my doctor says it is safe but don't feel good about it. I turned 77 this year honey so I am totally falling to pieces. But I do have some good news and exciting news. My grand daughter is going to have a baby . I am going to be a great grandma... Best news ever!!! The baby is due on my grand daughters birthday. How fun is that? Also, I am going to get to see her next week before the fourth. Her and her husband are coming to see us. I haven't seen her since last year.. So I am elated.
