So glad to hear your back is feeling some better now Cheryl.  That is great.  My back has been out maybe 3 times in my life and the second time I could barely walk.  Thank goodness the muscle relaxer the doctor prescribed did the trick and pretty fast too.  Take it slow and take good care of yourself.  Jackie

That is kind of what we are doing with hubby's eye glasses doctor.  We just dropped off our third prescription at the Optical Laboratory for new glasses.  And next Wednesday, hubby will have laser surgery to remove a buildup on the implant in his left eye.  We just keep taking another shot at getting glasses that he doesn't see double (Prism in glasses) and blurry and ... try again.  

I was afraid he had gotten too hot yesterday when he was replacing and rewiring the septic water pump by braille.  He has such a hard time seeing details like wires going together now.  He is my SuperMan!  

I am off to see what plants are wilted and in need of some water to perk up.  Our temperature is only 96 but it feels like 107 right now.  Sure hope you are cooler than that!

A glorious Wed. day to you as you enjoy your special  day doing this and that today. This will be our last 90 plus temp day and I am most happy about it.  Blessed to have a breeze also so that  helps the day to not be as warm.

Wow where did this month go to for it is the last week of the month and will be soon into August.  Each month has it beauty, so exciting to see and enjoy.  I am sipping on some honey's bon from the Donut Shop flavored coffee as I do my daily duties of the day. Good Morning and may God's favor shine in your smile today and everyday!  Sermons on TV watched and headed to watch more on the internet.  What a glorious day the Lord has made!  I love sharing scripture with my kids and grandkids.  That is the legacy that I want to leave them.  

So whatever your passion is, be sure you are sharing it with the world.  Because you never know who is watching you and what you do every day.  Or listening to what you say.  Or reading your text.  Look at it from a different perspective!

Come on over and stay a while.  It is hot already!  Yes, we are supposed to hit 100 today!  I have already watered both sides of the house and the front yard.  Hubby is working on straightening the scalloped bricks that border the flower bed in front.  Plants are trying to push them over.  Always something and for the most part, we love it!  

I think I will head back out and trim on a tree for a while.  I like making a mess and waiting for Hubby to clean it up.  Again, you are invited over any time.  There are always projects to be done.  I did see a hummingbird getting a drink this morning so I still need to make the water fountain for them.  So many things to do... so little time!  

And don't forget all your dogs are welcome to come too and have a playdate while you are here helping us with a project or 10.  Can't wait to see you!

I am starting with an afternoon greeting since I started this yesterday.  Life!  Today is the first day of the rest of your life so, let's make the most of it!  Put your energy into enjoying God and looking for the good that can still be found on this earth.  Use your gifts to shine His light into all the places He leads you.  

And right along with that is to share your smile.  Be kind to everyone because you never know how heavy the cross is that they are carrying.  

Tell me something... Did you see that moon last night?  If so we were both looking at it maybe even at the same time.
