DAUGHTER IN LAW AND GRANDSON STILL ON ALERT , IT ALL DEPENDS ON THE WIND AND IF THEY GET MORE LIGHTNING STRIKES. SHE HAS ALL PACKED AND READY TO GO IF NEED BE. SHE HAS CARRIERS FOR THE 2 DOGS AND ONE FOR THE CAT. ALL IS READY TO GO.

Good Morning and Happy Thursday! It's been raining here for the last several days on and off. We really needed the rain and the cooler temps it brought with it. I hope your'e having a good day so far.
Well, my one day of work turned into 9 days. So I will be working through Monday the 19th. Please don't give up on me. This sinus infection (now hubby has it too) is kicking us, well you know where. Coughing at night doesn't help the sleep I need to go to work.
Just know how important your friendship is to me and I will check on you as often as I can for now. I have almost no phone service at work and can't log on to anything personal through the servers. So I'll see you this weekend.

Sorry I have been MIA but I have a sinus infection. Just used Nettie Pot and so I am on the mend. I let it get into my chest so I was coughing all night. Hope you had a great July 4th weekend, The fireworks in our neighborhood (supposedly banned) kept our dogs stressed out. However, I found a remedy, Borax, that does help keep them somewhat calmer.
Yesterday we got the yard mowed, 3 loads of laundry done (bed sheets) and various other chores done. It sure makes you feel like you have accomplished lots. And today Hubby picks up new glasses. Sure hope this prescription helps him see better.
I work tomorrow but I will be back on Thursday to check on you and find out what all you have been getting into. Please share your smile with everyone you meet.
Hello Debijo, I did hear about the awful heatwave out west and hope that has broken now. It is warm here too in Buffalo but no heatwave for now thank goodness. HI DEBIJO, JUST CHECKING IN FORGIVE ME HAVE HAD HEAT STROKE AND BEEN VERY SILL. TODAY IS THE 1ST DAY IN OVER A WEEK I FEEL LIKE I AM COMING ALONG. THE HEAT HA BEEN TERRIBVLE AND YOU KNOW ALL ANOUY THAT AS YOU HAVE HAD IT TOO. TERRIBLE. DRINKING GATORADE TO BRING THINGS BACK TO NORMAL IN MY BODY. IF I HAD TO LIVE ANOTHER DAY IN THAT HEAT I WOULD NOT HAE MADE IT. EVERYTHING WAS SHUTTING DOWN INCLUDING MY KIDNEYS, NEVER WENT FOR ALMOST 2 DAYS. REALLY SCARED ME . Hello Moe, how are you doing? Sorry I didn't get to you over the weekend. Time just got away from me. My first week of vacation is almost over already. Have yet to get anything accomplished, been so very hot here. Sure hope you haven't been having a heat wave like us. It got up to 115 for a couple of days. Now you know I do like the heat but that is a little ridiculous. My swamp cooler isn't working very well and was just blowing hot air in by the afternoons. Just had to turn it off as it was 100 in the here. Poor animals were all laying around panting. Thankfully it is cooling back down in the 90's which is much more tolerable. My portable swamp cooler died at the end of last summer and of course everywhere I went to get a new one last week were all sold out. I do have one on order and it should arrive either today or tomorrow.
Anyway, not really much else going on. Just that the time is going by way too fast. I really need to get with it and get some projects done. Now that it isn't quite as hot maybe I can get busy.
What about you? Have you been doing anything fun lately? Hopefully you are getting out and about on occasion. Well, guess I will close for now. Hopefully I will get back on here in a few days. For many the long weekend has started. I can hardly wait to hear all the things you are doing for this US holiday and how you spent your extra day off. For us nothing will be different except trying to calm our four scared dogs as the fireworks go boom.
We have already been to visit friends. Our kids are in Mexico visiting and vacationing. Our adopted family is out of town looking at property for their real estate business.
Yesterday late afternoon we heard thunder and saw lightning. We got a small shower or two but not much rain. Then we woke up this morning to rain. It didn't quit until mid afternoon today. So we ended up with 1-1/2" of rain total. Boy, is it humid. Hard to breathe. Hope your weather is just perfect for the weekend.
Debi, isn't if funny how mid 90's are tollerable after 115? We both know that even 90's are too hot for Oregon. When our kids lived there and we were visiting, we overheard a Mom say, "It is almost 80. Let's go because it is getting too hot!"

hot and rainy here.. country rds were flooded but finally reopened as waters went down..I had copd flareup and on 3 new meds and breathing easier now. Hope you are staying cool and well!
