It is always so good to hear from you! I know you are enjoying being home even if it is hot. We had a cool front yesterday, Friday, and it was mid 90's today with feel like just over 100. We are sure in need of some rain but it look like the hurricane. wind storm, will go east of us. So glad you got to go and have some fun at the casino. Enjou your time off.

Just dropping by to say hello. Seems it has been a while since I have been here on the Hill. I am on vacation now from work, guess you would call it a staycation since I really don't go anywhere. I just like being home and not having to go to work everyday. I did make a trip to the Coast with my Step-mom, we had a good time and it was nice and relaxing. Also took a little trip to the Casino but didn't win anything. Darn anyway. Other than that just staying home hoping to get a few projects done. Though for the next couple of days it is going to be too hot to do anything. They are predicting 114 today, now I do like warmer weather verses cold weather but over 100 is a little much even for me lol... Anyway, I do hope all is well your way.. Stay cool, take care, and enjoy your weekend~~~ hugs, debijo
Here it is July! Do you remember when we were waiting for Winter to be over?
Maybe it is a good day to take the dogs for a ride when we go get tacos!
Or maybe that isn't such a good idea! It looks like the whole neighborhood wants to come. Can you imagine the expression on the person at the drive though?
Let's just sneak out and not tell the rest of them where we are going! I mean it is Tuesday but what they don't know...
I'll try to figure out what to say and when to say it. Hope you will laugh, love and share your tacos today!
It is too hot to cook or to turn the oven on for sure!
Now Rose bushes love the hot weather so they should all be blooming now.
However, if your rose looks like this, it might be a tad too hot where you live.
So just take a deep breath and remember as we start a new month how fast the last month went by. It will be November soon enough. We have survived these temperatures in summers past and we will again.
