Happy 4th July to all & my oversea friends may you have a blessed happy weekend. Going to be a hot one here for all week being the high 90's to low 100's. Any yard work will be early morning for sure. Take care & be safe......George
Hi Shirley.North Carolina isn't having as many hospitalizations or deaths from Coronavirus as some of the other southern states. Our governor isn't allowing as many businesses to re-open (no gyms, bars, playgrounds). We're stuck at phase 2 for another 3 weeks.Masks are required. If a mask can save me from the misery of getting that virus, of course I'm going to wear it, and stay out of crowds. And I start each month with a novena to Saint Joseph to protect Donnie and I from getting that virus....Be safe this holiday. Sending hugs.
President Jimmy Carter was a peanut farmer. President George H.W. Bush didn't eat broccoli. President Bill Clinton occasionally ate junk food. President Ronald Reagan liked jelly beans and ice cream!
In 1984 President Ronald Reagan designated July as National Ice Cream Month.
National Ice Cream Month is held every year in July throughout the United States.
President Reagan also named the third Sunday in July as National Ice Cream Day.
President Reagan stated that these two events should be observed with "appropriate ceremonies and activities."
In the U.S. 90% of the nation's population consumes ice cream...
I scream, you scream, We all 'SCREAM' for ice cream!

Wishing you sunny days, warm nights filled with God's peace love light joy and radiant blessings!
Happy ice cream month!

Psalm 128:1-4 Blessed are all who fear the Lord, who walk in obedience to him. You will eat the fruit of your labor; blessings and prosperity will be yours. Your wife will be like a fruitful vine within your house; your children will be like olive shoots around your table. Yes, this will be the blessing for the man who fears the Lord.
Good day to you. Another month gone & don't know why it seems to go by so fast. Maybe a solution will be found to combat the virus this next six months. Stay safe friend......George

Hi Shirley. It's been 5 months since my knee replacement surgery. I had to stay in the hospital for three days after the surgery. The physical therapist showed me how to walk with a walker and how to go up stairs and down again when I would be going home. I had a really bad time with the steps the day I went home. It took two guys to get me up the steps. At first I could not do much and was too sleeping from all the pain medication to even try. Then I requested by phone, that my surgeon authorize me to have in home therapy sessions, since it was such an ordeal to climb up and down stairs. This therapist, who came to our home, reversed everything the hospital therapist told me.He said that now, the new right knee was stronger than my left knee. He had me going up and dowwn stairs using my right leg leg to do the harder part to going up and down each step. I stemped dowwn each step using the left leg, and climbed up each step using the right leg. This procedure worked better for me. I'm still doing it this way. Somewhere down the road, the left knee is going to have to be replaced too. I've had lots of time to exercise my leg at home since the coronavirus kept me from going to outpatient physical therapy. Are you able to get all the medical attention you need since the coronavirus has affected us with quarantines?Sending hugs.
A happy weekend to you and wishing many blessings. Getting some of the Sahara dust here with humidity. Going to do the same thing I did yesterday....nothing . Not taking any chances in getting in crowds. We can sit on the porch and interact with neighbors walking down the street and kids. Stay safe my friend....George
