Good day to you. Another month gone & don't know why it seems to go by so fast. Maybe a solution will be found to combat the virus this next six months. Stay safe friend......George

Hi Shirley, hope your weekend was good. We are hot and sunny and he dust is gone so it's much easier to breathe outside. I was able to attend church yesterday and what a blessing to be able to do so. Have a good new week and enjoy your day!
Hi Shirley. It's been 5 months since my knee replacement surgery. I had to stay in the hospital for three days after the surgery. The physical therapist showed me how to walk with a walker and how to go up stairs and down again when I would be going home. I had a really bad time with the steps the day I went home. It took two guys to get me up the steps. At first I could not do much and was too sleeping from all the pain medication to even try. Then I requested by phone, that my surgeon authorize me to have in home therapy sessions, since it was such an ordeal to climb up and down stairs. This therapist, who came to our home, reversed everything the hospital therapist told me.He said that now, the new right knee was stronger than my left knee. He had me going up and dowwn stairs using my right leg leg to do the harder part to going up and down each step. I stemped dowwn each step using the left leg, and climbed up each step using the right leg. This procedure worked better for me. I'm still doing it this way. Somewhere down the road, the left knee is going to have to be replaced too. I've had lots of time to exercise my leg at home since the coronavirus kept me from going to outpatient physical therapy. Are you able to get all the medical attention you need since the coronavirus has affected us with quarantines?Sending hugs.
Hi Shirley, hope your weekend is good! We are hot and steamy here. 100 degrees yesterday and the dust from the Sahara was over the top of us and making it hard to breathe. Staying in as much as possible today. Enjoy your birds and stay cool!
A happy weekend to you and wishing many blessings. Getting some of the Sahara dust here with humidity. Going to do the same thing I did yesterday....nothing . Not taking any chances in getting in crowds. We can sit on the porch and interact with neighbors walking down the street and kids. Stay safe my friend....George
... and weekend, too:) Know how much you're looking forward to next week and being w/your g'daughters! Keep doing good, sweet lady! You deserve all good things. ♥ *hugs*
Good Morning Shirley: Boy do I ever envy you your birds. Being a bird lover myself i know the joy of seeing/feeding/photographing 'em. Was a member of Bird Studies Canada and did a lot of reporting of sightings. Now, since we sold our house, can only watch them fly by.
Hi Shirley. My knee is continuing to heal, and I'm no longer on pain medication. My range of motion is improving as I continue to do exercises daily. Stairs are my biggest challenge. I can walk some without a cane now, except for stairs. I'm grateful I had the knee replacement now. I'm relieved I had the surgery done at the beginning of the year before the lockdown for the coronavirus hit us. Then all elective surgeries, like knee replacements , were put on hold. The new knee feels different from my old knee. It is getting used to being in my body, and I am used to how it's different from my old knee......Maybe, kitty can teach me some dance moves.Sending hugs and smiles.
