A good day to you my friend. Another beautiful day here expecting rain. Have a squirrel feeder with two enjoying the corn on cob and what they don't eat birds keep what's fallen on the ground cleaned up. Hope the day is as beautiful as you are......George
Our 4 dogs were very glad we came back home from our trip. Hubby checked on them a bunch while we were gone on our cams.
Today I went to pick up the Edward Jones ladies. Tisha will be 35 tomorrow and we took her to lunch today at Salt Grass.
Then I had to stop at Tuesday Morning and Hobby Lobby before my car would come home. I don't really have any room on the fence but aren't they pretty!
And I'm hoping that Hubby can find a way to drill a hole in the top of this beautiful blue fish (there is already a hole in the bottom) so I can use it to make a hummingbird bird bath. Do you have any suggestions on how to drill a hole in ceramic?
So now I need to pay a few bills for the first of the month. Can you believe June is almost over?
Julie and I have been best friends for over 45 years and the four of us, best friends, for about 40. Needless to say, a fun time was had by all!
They love to cook and we all love to eat. Went out to a really great Mexican Food restaurant too. Even came home with frozen food from their freezer.
They work in their yard even more than we do and it is just beautiful. Pink the standard poodle is the best behaved dog in the world. She loves posing for pictures.
They have about 60 koi fish in the pond their kids built for them. It was their second pond built as the first one at their other house was much smaller.
Well, I must get back to putting stuff away and cleaning up around here. I just want you to know how much I have enjoyed reading all the comments while we were gone.
Good day to you and wishing a happy weekend for you. We have rain predicted for al of next week but that is fine with me. Time of year for unusual heat in some areas and prayers the water stays with them. Have a great new week coming up and share your smiles......George
I have lost track of time. I think it was Sunday when we mowed the yard and we got the 3' tall area where the standing water finally dried up. Then on Monday we trimmed the 2 Vitex trees and had 3 BIG wheelbarrow loads of limbs that we dumped in the carport to cut up later.
We also cut about 10 big limbs off a tree in the front side and left them there because a cool front was due to blow in.
It was an extremely hot humid day and we were tired and sore too. So today we got the limbs cut up as we had to bundle our bulk in 3x3x3' with twine and call to have it picked up on our trash day. We don't have bulk pick up, per say, as they send another truck for that and we are limited to only 4 bundles. We have 10 bundles today.
As the cool front came through, we had a BIG gust of wind that blew the big gate Hubby made years ago inside out.
It busted out the wood that part of the latch was attached to and we had to repair that. It also blew over one of my 4 cement birdbaths. Just knocked the top upside down on the ground. Friends lost roof shingles, we haven't even checked that yet. Now, for the College World Baseball Series update. Sunday evening my Longhorns lost. Today they won. So we will play again on Thursday evening. And just in case I haven't shared enough pictures yet, I'll leave you with one more. My yard at night!
Hi and greetings to you! I hope you're blessed and doing well during all this crisis! Personally myself, I haven't worried about it too much, each day I just give the day to the Father and let him handle those issues that may arise. All this stuff that has been hitting us certainly hasn't come from God but from the god of this world who just loves to torment people no matter who they are. But stay strong, Ephesians 6 gives us the power to overcome anything that may come into our path and like I said earlier God will take care of us in this great verse in I Peter 5:7 "Casting all your care upon him for he careth for you. What a great verse! That word "All" is so important, because, we're casting all our cares upon him, God who will take care of us no matter what! That is so totally awesome and since we're his kids, he will do this like he did for his son, the Lord Jesus Christ who is our brother too! I look forward to meeting him one day along with the rest of God's family! So, may you have a most wonderful day be truly blessed and take care. It's always nice to hear from you. In his name! Steff

Hi and God Bless,
Thanks for the nice birthday wishes. It's really nice to get those birthday wishes from fellow believers, makes birthdays really special. I always thank God daily for all the believers I know for their lives and well being. I wish you a most wonderful day and pray that God will bless your life daily with many benefits as it's spoken in his matchless Word! May you be blessed and have a super great day. Thanks again for that really nice birthday wish! Take care, Steff
Success is to wake up each morning and consciously decide that today will be the best day of your life. When you arise in the morning, think of what a precious privilege it is to be alive – to breathe, to think, to enjoy, to love – then make that day count
BLESSINGS AND HAPPINESS ON THIS MONDAY MORNING HAVE A FANTASTIC NEW WEEK
We went to the car show this morning and yes, it was quite warm. But there were lots of beauties, old and newer. The time it takes to build and keep them shining takes pure dedication. After that we stopped to visit a friend that lived in the area. After that I took Hubby home before I headed to WalMart to pick up a few groceries and some craft things to build my hummingbird bird bath.
After all, Saturday is Bath Day! Have you had your bath today? After looking at cars we had melted down and looked like we had just finished our bath. Starting today there are 2 college baseball games a day for the World Series. So I am headed off to watch TV.
RISE AND SHINE IT IS BREAKFAST TIME COME AND JOIN US FOR BREAKFAST , NOTHING BETTER THAN BREAKFAST SHARED WITH FRIENDS AND GREAT CUP OF COFFEE AND A TALK WITH JESUS .
A good day and weekend to you my dear friend. We try to stay in the air condition as much as possible as the temps are a steady hot. Sit out on the porch where the shade is to enjoy fresh air and a breeze. Take care and spread your smile.....George
Well, are you getting ready for the weekend? Are you ready to relax? Will you be working in the yard? Or is it just another day? Today is the day the Lord has blessed us with for sure!
Whatever your plans are and wherever the Lord leads you, I hope you laugh and share your smile with everyone. After all, laughter is the best medicine! I have been crossing off things on my "to do" list today but have a few more to go.
So I am sending Blessings and Hugs and Kisses too! Enjoy your day and I hope you get everything checked off all your lists today and find some time to relax and play!
I hope it is a mystical, magical Wednesday for you and me! Who knows what the day will bring. I've already been to Rockwall to get gas in my car (lines were not too long at Costco unlike yesterday afternoon) and Braums for milk (they are a local business out of Oklahoma that only has stores within a certain radius that the trucks can deliver daily). We buy A2 Milk from them as they have the only certified A2 herd in the U.S. "Google" A2 milk. It works great for people that are lactose intolerant or at least it makes a big difference for me as far as not making mucus.
Yesterday I did a zoom call and it was a virtual tour of Pompei, Italy with a great tour guide. They are still discovering things buried in the volcanic ash. This is the third tour as we have already been to Venice and Barcelona. Hubby and I also met a friend for lunch. Diann and I exchanged things we had for each other. I had bought her some vitamins she couldn't find, NAC that she paid me for, and she gave me some cuttings from Airplane plant, Hoya, and Chocolate mint. The airplane and hoya that I had originally shared with her died in our freeze this year. So now I am off to pot plants and watch the hummingbirds because I have already made food, cleaned feeders and refilled feeders today.
I am working on making several different hummingbird fountain birdbaths. I will put the links to a couple that I think we can build. Robbie has a BUNCH of awesome videos to make these!

Besides, no telling who I need to share a smile with today!
A new baby was born at the Fort Worth zoo. The herd grew by 6'2". What a wonderful day Monday was! It was fun to celebrate Kay's birthday with friends and to visit. Then after watering most of my plants (you heard me right, water plants) because the extreme heat had them hanging their heads and after I sweat down completely, I came in and called my dear friend in Canada, Gloria.
As you can tell, we played on our Alexa Echo Show, on Messenger Video and on Zoom. I was showing her the different backgrounds I have in Zoom to use. Then it was time for the last Super Regional baseball game. Now the 8 teams are going to Omaha and playoffs for the #1 Champion of 2021 begin on June 19th.
In memory of my first friend, Cricket, on "the hill" who loved dolphins and has been having a Woo Hoo party with Jesus for many years now, I will send you Blessings & Hugs!
A busy start to the week for me. I have to pick up some birthday pizza for lunch with friends today. Tomorrow is a later lunch with a different friend because of a morning zoom tour to Pompei.
Last night was another late night but the good news is my Longhorns are going to the College World series in Omaha for the 37th time.
So now I'm off and running but...
to you today and every day. I have to go share my smile with everyone I encounter today and hope you will too.
Good day to you and wishing a great new week for you. Plenty warm here but it's the time of year for it. Take care and spread your smile and a kind word to others.
Today is one of those days. Thought about mowing yesterday evening, but decided we would wait until this morning when it was cooler... bad decision!
That is what we woke up to today. The winds were very high (had to tie one of the wind chimes) but we only got 2/10" from it as it dissipated as it got near us or fizzled out as our weatherman often says.
Took this yesterday showing how much water we still have standing and how much we need to be able to mow. However, I got some other good pictures too.
Just look at the unusual clouds in the sky. This picture was from my front yard.
And this picture was taken from my backyard.
Anyway, I hope you share your smile and make some sunshine for everyone you encounter today. Almost time for college baseball playoffs to start.
"When you start to do the things that you truly love, it wouldn't matter whether it is Monday or Friday; you would be so excited to wake up each morning to work on your passionsHave a great Friday and a wonderful week-end
You know what today is and what is coming very soon... the weekend is just about here!
even if you are retired ! Do you have something exciting planned? College baseball Super Regional playoffs start today, so you know what we'll be doing... watching as many games as we can get on TV. I am sending
Now it is time to get busy and get ready for the weekend! Share your smile with everyone in case someone needs it worse than you!
As always I am thinking of you and sending Blessings and Hugs to you! Looking forward to hearing from you!
Praying you get rain soon Lee for the farmers especially!
Worked yesterday afternoon and ran errands this morning. I am starting Chicken and Dumplings now. Still don't know if we have company coming tomorrow or not.
Humidity was at 99% again early this morning. The ground is so saturated. So I think I will check the plants outside quickly and read my book while the laundry finishes. Smile! Someone is watching you!
