Rain is headed our way and for me it's a good day to get some things done around the house. I'm in the mood to make some changes and do some major Spring cleaning!

The cold weather finally hit us after all the warm weather we've had. I noticed the other day my buttercups, daffodils and forsythia are all blooming. It's such a beautiful site to see during this cold weather. I hope your having a great weekend and have a wonderful Sunday!

Yes it's going to be hard for all of us to get use to changing the date of the year on things. I have family in Michigan and a very good friend that live there too and I don't know how y'all get used to the cold or snow. Here in the south we may get a little during the winter but not much. Me, I'm ready for Spring! I don't stay up and bring in the new year but I have been cooking my ribs, cabbage, blackeye peas, mashed potatoes, corn on the cob and now making my cornbread. I have 4 sons and two grandkids. (twins a boy and a girl) and they all love to eat. lol Have a good day my dear sweet friend and a wonderful New Year!

I Had a very busy week with two different get togethers here at home and a Christmas party. I'm trying to get everything down, put away and ready for a brand New Year.
