Too bad you have not been out this way Richard.you would love the mountains and pine forest. I had a nice day at the church dinner todsy. Nice friends there. They had Mexican food.was very good.Tomorrow I go to the thrift  store and get  donated Xmas stockings for a boy and a girl. Then go to a store and get things to fill them. That is one of my traditions I have done for a couple of years now.

Yes Richard call me Ruth..Have you ever been to the west? I have never been back east. We have mountains that I Love. I live in New Mexico now. Lived in Texas and Utah before that. Born in Central Texas. Raised in Moab Utah. My favorite place the la Sal  mountains in Eastern Utah. Colorado is dear to my heart as well. My husband raised in Colorado .We did a  lot of camping and fishing in Colorado and La Sals as well. I miss those days. Now a lonely life with him gone.  Just lost my dearest friend from Australia 10 months ago.. Still grieving for him. I met him here on NOTH. Talked on Skype every day for 14 years.  Terrible to loose him. He taught me how to play Chess. Still learning.

I have been off NOTH for years but just came back. Now I forgot how to fix my page as others do. Yours is beautiful dear Richard.

Tomorrow a church senior dinner they do once every month. Wonderful meal the ladies prepare. Even have door prizes. I go with my sister. Wonderful people.

Today is nice after the snow . I love the snow but not the mess. With dogs there is always tracks brought in. But I love the dogs  and that is part of having them. Do you have any pets.? I also have white cats that are my pride and joy.  Yes weekends are boring at time . But people that are still working and have them off always finds things to do,
