Henceforth I call you not servants;
for the servant knoweth not what
his lord doeth: but I have called you
friends; for all things that I have
heard of my Father I have made known
unto you. (John 15:15 KJV)

I'M SORRY I HAVEN'T RESPONDED TO YOUR MANY SWEET AND BEAUTIFUL COMMENTS. SEVERAL IMPORTANT THINGS HAPPENING AT ONCE HERE...NONE LIFE-THREATENING, BUT ALL MUST BE ATTENDED TO. THOUGH I AM ON FACEBOOK OFF AND ON, I WANT TO BE ABLE TO TAKE TIME TO READ THROUGH EVERY SINGLE COMMENT. UNTIL THEN, JUST KNOW HOW VERY MUCH I APPRECIATE YOU ALL, AND I HOPE THINGS LEVEL OFF AROUND HERE IN A MONTH OR SO.

Latest Auburn, Alabama, weather conditions and forecast

I was born a "war baby" in Louisiana,
where my father was stationed in the Army
at the time. My first memories are of living
in New Port Richey, Florida (after the war),
but we soon moved to east-central Alabama
when I was about four-years-old. We returned
to visit Florida when we could for many years
after. I still have a big place in my heart
for the Suncoast.

I now live with my husband near Auburn, AL.
I love pets, and we have a mixed husky and
a rabbit.
In mid-October '11, a lost little calico
cat was crying out in the woods behind our
house. We coaxed her to us, and found signs
she would be having kittens. The joke is
on whoever dumped her, because she is not
having kittens, and we have a new friend,
named Abby.
We have uncounted goldfish living
in an old satellite dish my husband picked
up on the roadside, which we sank into the
ground. I mortared stones (yes, *I* did)
around the upper inside of the satellite
dish and around the rim, and built a fake
stone walkway around it. In the late spring,
I set big pots of plants I have kept in a
small greenhouse all winter around the fish
pool, and it is a little haven under shade
trees in our yard throughout the summer
until mid-to-late fall.

1. Regarding TV shows and movies, I like action,
Bible epics,chick flicks, animals,etc. I also
like to watch old movies.
2. I love the look and sound of ocean waves
coming ashore, even in an average storm.
3. Looking at the majesty of God's creation in
fields, forests, mountains, skies, lakes and
streams, etc. is a treat.
4. Hugs are nice.
5. Eating is too nice for my own good. It's made
me "fluffy"

I cannot even comprehend slaughtering babies at any stage
of development, especially when they are viable.

It's a Child

Not a Choice

A chilling thought: How big of a step would it be from forcing
a doctor to perform abortions of babies at all terms, against
his or her moral convictions, to forcing him or her to perform
euthanasia and/or eugenics against his or her moral convictions?

*I loathe the latest trends to foul language,
hideous creatures, and blatant sex in the media.
*I don't like that our young people are being
desensitized to horror and conscience by violent
video games.
*I wish there was no astrology designation on here, 'cause
I don't fool with that stuff.

1. Computer.
2. Pencil drawing (a LITTLE painting)
3. Writing.
4. Gardening (veggie and flower) and raising
decorative plants.
5. Reading.
6. Sewing.
7. Pets.
8. Cake decorating using icing like modeling
clay.
9. I like doing light (and sometimes fairly
heavy) construction work, including mixing
cement in an old wheelbarrow to pour into
some creation that enters my mind. My "dirty
little secret" is my idea of a great birthday
or Christmas present is a power tool. And my
REALLY dirty little secret is that I
thoroughly enjoy tearing out walls.
