I don't do movies these days. I just don't have the time but an all time favorite is GONE WITH THE WIND.

I enjoy mostly Country Christian music. Sometimes I will have a flashback and listen to some good old Rock and Roll.....

I use to read a lot of mystery books but now a days I read the BIBLE where I find all the mystery, romance and suspense I want.

My favorite food is anything Italian and fresh homemade BREAD.

Finally a Grandmother

Dean was born March 24, 2009. He weighed in at 9'2 and was 21" long with a full head of dark brown hair. My new picture is him at 3 days old and headed home from the hospital. On the 2nd day of his birth a lady got into the nursery with intentions of stealing 2 babies. Thank God an alarm went off and she was caught. She was impersonating a midwife....I am sure this story will be told many times as he grows older.

I love the outdoors, working in the yard and gardening makes me happy. I live in the country and have been for the last 10 years since moving to AR. I'm not crazy about the violent weather we get but I guess you have to take the good with the bad. I have 2 grown children who live in NJ and I'm still waiting to be called grandmom..."I am beginning to lose hope" but my sister Nancy shares her grandkids. They are great!.."UPDATE"....A MAJOR CHANGE. MY SON WILL BE A FATHER MARCH 29TH. A SURPRISE GIVEN TO ME ON MY 62 BIRTHDAY....
I spend my spare time on the computer researching my family roots. For the last 4 years that has been my passion..recording my families footprints. On most rainy days that is where you will find me. My family comes from the eastern TN area, at the foot of the Smokies around Newport, Del Rio and Hartford area.. Just in case a lost family member of mine stumbles by I am looking for JAMES,GREEN,KIRKPATRICK,and BALL surnames, just to name a few. Always looking to fill in a blank space....I enjoy feeding and watching the birds that visit my backyard. This year I have a "flock" of goldfinches. They will empty my feeders in 2 days and my yard sounds like a bird store. The most beautiful bird I have seen so far has been the Painted Bunting. His colors are amazing. Most of my life I lived in a town and was never exposed to the country life. Now that I live in the country I would not trade it for anything. It just makes me Happy......

Spring, Summer and Fall.......especially Spring. I really like watching all the birds in my yard building their homes and rearing their young.

The cold days of Winter but I love to look at the snow falling.

Hobbies for me are gardening and genealogy.
I always look forward to Spring and planting my vegetable garden and walking around in my yard looking at all the plants and flowers given to me by friends. My most distant plants received are from Vineland NJ and Goose Creek SC.
My genealogy was sparked by my sister-in-law who is active in D.A.R. I've got a long way to go but have met a cousin three times removed who helped fill in a lot of information. That was an EXCITING moment. If you've got elderly family members living "Do write your HISTORY down" for future families to come.I promise they will appreciate it some day.
