My music likes are varied. I grew up listening to operas my dad played on the phonograph every night when we sat down for dinner. Then when I headed off to bed I turned my radio on to Country Western. I enjoy the music of the Masters, IL Divo, Show Tunes and so much more. Just not to be included in heavy metal...don't understand what they are "yelling" about.

Welcome to my little corner of this big wide world. Although twice widowed I have found my life to not be boring in the least. Going back in time I was born in the central valley of Calif., was raised in So. Calif but spent over 20 years in the Sierra Nevada Mountains. Also lived in Oregon and currently in North Las Vegas. I have been so very fortunate to be able to travel to 11 countries & numerous states in the US. I have been blessed with two lovely daughters and 4 awesome grandsons. After losing my dear 14 yr. old cat, the loneliness got to me and 2 years ago I adopted two very sweet kittens..Missy & Zoie. They return so much love and entertainment. Of course, they can be brats at times.

I love Fall for it brings an end to the terrible desert heat and cooler weather and open windows at night and goldfinch a-plenty outside my window. The feeling of more ambition that was sucked from the body in the summer heat is a welcome treat.
