Happy is the man who ...
Posted On 06/18/2013 18:29:59 by yourchoice
Happy is the man who finally has tires on his tractor. This has been my husband's winter project, and he's almost finished. The next step is to get a bit of fuel in the tank, to see if they can get this John Deere started. If you would like to see the progress that has been accomplished, thanks to several buddies who were so helpful in the project, click on the picture above. Now they are encouraging Ed to enter it in a community antique impliment parade. I haven't heard when that would be ...... Read More

Vintage Cars and Old Friends
Posted On 06/03/2013 23:19:08 by yourchoice
The first weekend in June, we were able to attend the annual Three Hills, Alberta Car Cruise, and it was filled with nostalgia ... Vintage cars and long-time friends. Fifty-two years ago, I started my first 'professional' job in a 19-bed hospital in this town. Shopping has never been at the top of my “Things I Love To Do” list. I did enjoy trips to the Mall when our children were in school – new toys, new styles, new colors! Of course there were the regular challenges:
1.        You don’t need it! 2.        You already have two at home that still fit! 3.        You don’t have enough money! 4.        No, you’ve alr... Read More

Becky's family
Posted On 09/21/2008 16:43:56 by NurseArtist
Our daughter, Becky, and her three girls, Abby, Karsyn, and Whitley, joined us for church this morning.  I really can't say that I could tell you what the priest talked about...I was too busy trying to keep the two little ones separated from squabbling and picking up dry cereal from beneath the pews.  But I prayed.  Lord, how I prayed...that they might grow up to be healthy and happy young women. Abby, the oldest of the three, is 10 years old.  Very pretty, with golden brown... Read More
