BLOGS: A blog, simply put, is something you have written, or written about.

We have a forum you can post pictures, recipes or jokes you want to share; these are not considered blogs and will be removed. On the other hand, for example, a recipe with a story about a recipe that has special meaning would be fine. Greetings to others, thank you's, etc. are not considered blogs and will be removed.

It’s All About the 3C’s …
Posted On 02/22/2023 19:51:16 by yourchoice
Many thanks to the host of friends who have kept in touch with me the last several months, even though I have been unusually silent. There must be some reason for my absence, so I’ve instructed my  ‘talking fingers’ to take a few minutes to ‘set the record straight’! The title of this may give you some clue … or maybe not! One of the C’s is definitely NOT Covid, or Complaints or Chemicals. Both husband and I are doing well but not perfect. We are thankful to be able to remain... Read More

What About The Truckload?
Posted On 03/25/2021 21:22:19 by yourchoice
It is hard for me to realize that March is almost finished... at least in our part of this world. We did get a taste of Spring somewhat early but that’s gone now. The temperatures have been in the mid 50*F and we are now told to prepare for a coming snow ‘blizzard’ after the expected balmy weekend. I give up! Posted On 07/22/2020 23:34:43 by yourchoice
You may not believe this, but you haven’t heard from me this past month because I couldn’t come up with a topic that would be even slightly interesting in a blog. Our favorite dining spots have been closed, except for curbside service, and the food would be cold before we got back home. A treat in town would be a drive-thru for donuts or hamburgers, but eating a meal in o... Read More

What's New?
Posted On 06/12/2020 08:27:32 by texasjane
What's New? At our ages the list of possible answers is getting shorter. My second husband and I used to have a company we named "What's New." We basically took statuary.. glued a flower pot on the back of it and made a mold over the whole thing. We then filled the mold with many different things. Our most popular pieces were made of marble. It would come out as a fancy flower pot or planter. I had learned to carve and to make molds. He was a CPA by trade but had always wanted to go into business... Read More

W - What a Wacky Workplace! - My Throwback Thursday Blog!
Posted On 04/30/2020 20:25:19 by yourchoice
This is a "throw-back" Thursday blog... changing the focus of our present "new normal" to a "how it was" at our home on a "normal" summer day! It is a fun memory. This was one of my postings in the A to Z Alphabet Blog Challenge.______________________________ _____W - What a Wacky Workplace! When do the wonderful men in our area have the most fun? When they are working on a project together. Some are ranchers, working together to drive cattle from one feeding area to another, or loading th... Read More
