BLOGS: A blog, simply put, is something you have written, or written about.
We have a forum you can post pictures, recipes or jokes you want to share; these are not considered blogs and will be removed. On the other hand, for example, a recipe with a story about a recipe that has special meaning would be fine. Greetings to others, thank you's, etc. are not considered blogs and will be removed.

During our developing years, our list of the wonders of the world around us changes. Meeting Santa was a wonder that took some getting used to as well as the wonder of kittens being born. The first time we went to the circus was filled with wonders. Tigers, lions, elephants are all exciting but not as disturbing as watching ten clowns get out of one small car. That one bothered me. They were a good place for me to practice what I was learning. My mother also tried to teach me how to knit, the European sty... Read More
Mama cut up chicken on the counter of the little old fashioned cabinet. She washed it down good with her dishrag dried it off and proceeded to roll out pie crust or biscuits, no bleach, but we didn't seem to be sick. We all took Gym class and risked permanent injury with a pair of high top tennis shoes instead of having cross-training athletic shoes with air cushion soles and built in light reflectors that cost as much as a small car. I can't recall any injuries but they... Read More
