Hi Greg, I'm so sad knowing some friends here was passed away.  Mona, Jane and now its Angeleyes.  Even we are far apart and didn't see each other in person I considered you all my friends as a part of my family,  that I care and loved so much.  I was blessed as a part of Noth, although I'm younger than yours, the respect and cared you had given me , I was touched the way you greet me and shared an inspiring words that that lift up  my spirit .  In here , I feel the respects and care of all of you especially to our Admin Altara.  She is so understanding and caring.  I love you all my friends and respect you all so much.  From the bottom of my heart, thank you so much for your genuine friendship.  Much love always.

So true, Greg. I'm missing friends I have made on here as well. Friends who either left NOTH due to circumstances or those who passed.  I love how we can connect with each other here, with people we would otherwise not have a chance to meet in "real" life.   In keeping with the motto Carpe Diem (Seize the day!)  I'd like to say now how much your friendship means to me. 

You're right how the losses come around. A couple months after my wife passed away our dog passed. It was a difficult time for me. Thank you for being a friend.

I was thinking just a few days ago of the losses both here and in my personal life. It seems like they come in increments..our sweet dog passed a month ago, and it seems like yesterday. As well, the friends here at the Hill we've said goodbye too recently. I'm remembering too another one here that passed in 2022. Life goes by so fast, even more so, it seems, as we get older. I cherish the memories they all leave behind, for that signifies their being a part of our life..whether it was brief or years on end. Thanks for being my friend 🙂

Thank you Lynne. I've had my share of grief and each loss there are different ways to deal with it. They do say time heals but I found it is more like time makes it easier. Until now I didn't really know how close I felt to our friend here.

They say that time is a great healer, but I think it all depends on the individual.  Grief is a very strong emotion and dealt with gradually.  Most people have experienced loss of loved ones whether it be relatives, friends or pets.  Amazingly we carry on and each day becomes slightly better, especially when we focus on the fond memories we had with them.  Think we also become more appreciative of the people we have in our present, Greg.

You are right, life is very short. Losing someone makes you more aware of your own mortality. Love to you.
