This morning, I opened a new bottle of allergy pills. The 'pills' literally took up 1/5th, with the rest of the space empty. I've said this for years: if they'd make the containers smaller, there wouldn't be such 'waste'--so much plastic. However, I'm sure the idea is that if the consumer actually sees how 'small' the amount is, they'd compain about pricing. This was 60 tiny pills. The second half of my pet peeve is the constant TV ads for medicines! I wonder how many people actually ask their doctors for things they see in TV ads? I certainly don't; I understand my doctor knows what is best for me. If he/she gives me a choice, I can then do my own research before I decide.
