Pizza, hoagies, and most of the fattening things that sensible dieticians cringe at hearing are a part of someone's diet.

Married to a truck driver for thirty years and widowed for the last eighteen, I am incredibly blessed to have two sons and two daughters who show me everyday how much they love me. They've provided me with nine grandchildren who daily give me reasons to laugh despite the physical challenges I face at this time of my life. I live in an old Victorian house in a small Pennsylvania town where the rumble of Amish buggies is a normal sound.

Until a few years ago, I'd been involved in many church activities. I've taught children and led Bible studies, directed Puppet ministries and worked for a Christian radio station. I'm a published writer of short stories and two books. Looking back on my life, I recognize I've been greatly blessed in so many ways I can't begin to count them all. Looking ahead, I know those blessings continue to rain down on me and I thank the Lord daily for them.
