I love peace and quiet. I'm happiest when I'm home, either cooking or reading. It seems as if I have to be gone much more than I'd like to be, but there is always something to do that takes me away from home.

For over 50 years my husband and I have collected antique salt shakers. We have a nice collection, these are not novelty shakers, these are Victorian art glass, late 1800's and some are extremely expensive. We don't buy much any longer, they've almost become price prohibitive. We belong to a national collectors club and each year we go to the annual convention.
