Love movies but don't go to the cinema much.Don't like modern horror, rather indifferent to Sci fi. Like a good mystery, comedy or romance and biograqphies.

I like most music except rap, heavy metal. Love Patsy Cline, Jim Reeves, Michael Crawford, Sarah Brightman, John Denver, Glen Miller, Elvis, the Beatles - and great nostalgia for 50's & 60's.

Favourite contemporary Author is Tim Winton. Avid borrower from the Library. Enjoy thrillers, murder mysteries, romance, early Patricia Cornwall, non fiction crime books, biographies and autobiographies. Before the internet, whenever I wanted to know about something I looked it up in the local library, now of course, I 'google' it

Love jewel colours, emerald green, royal blue and purple.

I like food too much, or perhaps, too much food. My current favourite is a spicy Thai chicken dish my husband cooks and the Sunday roast dinner I cook. Favourite dessert is Pavlova or sticky date pudding. I love trying foods from different cultures and countries.When I was growing up, spaghetti bolognese or Chinese food was the most exotic on offer, now we have the ingredients, recipes and restaurants of food from all over the world.

I have been married to an American from Iowa for almost 38 years. I lived in the US for 5 years before returning to Australia where we lived in Sydney. 7 years ago we moved to Far North Queensland to a small town near the rainforest on the Atherton Tablelands. We are now retired and enjoying our piece of Paradise. During the last year we bought two wonderful little dogs, brother & sister who keep us amused and on our toes.
