Good morning to you on this glorious day! I went to lunch yesterday with Kelly and Angela. What a blessing! Then we voted on the 2 amendments in Texas as early voting started this week. After that we walked Costco, got Hubby's prescription and a few items on our list.
I do love her expressive eyes! Yes we are working outside today, pulling weeds, getting brush cut up to put in trash cans for pick up tomorrow, and checking to see if any new seeds have burst out above the soil yet.
Hubby is already in for a water break and to let his screaming legs have a rest. Yes, I have dirt under my fingernails already (didn't take time to put gloves on) and now I am sending you "Blessings & Hugs" as I head back outside. Come on over! You are always invited. We can play in the dirt or just sit on the patio and watch the hummingbirds!
Went to breakfast this morning rather than cooking - but think we'll try a different place next time. Stopped at two stores to find leeks but they don't carry them down here anymore - they don't carry broccoli rabe either!! I wanted it to make mushroom soup but we just used regular yellow ones and it turned out good, just not the same. Had toasted garlic toast with it. Was 68 and sunny - very pleasant and supposed to be warmer as the week goes on. Have a great nite Cheryl. Hugs, Wendy
It was sunny and 80 all day. I translanted a few flowres/ plants today that should have been done a weeke or two ago. So we'll see how the fare. Rch mad perogies with seasoned onions and I made a salad for dinner. Rain came around 7pm so I know everything got a good drink. Now to water my inside plants! Hope yur day went well. PT is tomorrow again then I think I only have two morsessions, but I won't do it again cause it might help, but at times I still have pain and limp. Oh well guess it'll stay that way till I get surgery and no one thinks that's needed. Have a lovely rest of the nite Cheryl. Hugs, WEndy
I planted 8 pots of flower seeds and mowed with bagging it all front and back. We had about 10 large bags of grass and weeds. Then I went to Brahms for milk and Rosa’s for taco salad. Perfect weather from 46 to 73 today!
Tomorrow I am having lunch with a couple of the girls. Then I have to go to Costco to pick up Hubby's prescription and pick up a couple of things. Can't wait to share my smile with others.
Hope your weekend went well Cheryl Mine wass good - played dominos Sunday ntie and since we have a new woman, I don't come in last anymore. Had PPT today and am not hurting like I used to so maybe it's working. Brought two hambergers home after so we had a late lunch - so late that I didn't nee to make dinner tonite - always a nice thing! Then went to DQ as Rich had a GC so we had desert. Hope you had a good weekend too. The weather has been in the 80's and we've had the AC on since Sunday morning. Hope your Monday wass better than this.
About 3:30 am I woke to a vibrating dog who does NOT like thunder and lightning! It is one of my favorite things! The Rain Angel left us with 1-1/2" of blessed rain. Oh how my plants are singing praises today!
So as we say goodbye to April showers, we say hello to May flowers! (Thanks Anne for the graphic) Blessings from above! And an added bonus of a cool front. We are in the 60's today and should start Taco Tuesday in the upper 40's.
For this last week of April whether it is filled with cold or hot or dry or wet just add smiles and enjoy it.
Happy Earth Day! My seeds are soft but haven't sprouted yet. I did get some pots ready to put them in and got another bunch of pots out of the storage building.
Even with high winds, spring flowers are blooming. Hydrangeas, Gardinas, BlueBonnets, Triple Iris, and Roses. And so many, many more... Hummingbirds are loving it!
So I am sending you Blessings and Hugs for the weekend ahead with our windows closed and air conditioner running as I am off to smile even if it is just at the Hummers!
Been working on a new page, but not finished yet. Had to stoop to say hello and glad you had a good day. The sun made it feel much warmer than the thermometer let us believe. The temps are on the rise and will be 80 by the weekend. PT was again today and again was sore when I left but a hot shower made me feel much better. Hope the wind dies down some for y'all.
We haven't seen the sun yet today. We are getting a misty, very light rain. But we are expecting the 30+mph winds to blow everything away for the next several days.
Good Morning to you. I hope you are enjoying the morning my friend. The sun is shining here, going to be a nice day here. Just wish the wind wasn't blowing. Enjoy your day. And take care, Hugs--Cheryl
