We have sunshine this beautiful Monday morning and I hope you do too.
I pray that everything is right in your world this first full week of April.
I ran across a picture of our house before we moved to DFW well over 20 years ago and after sharing it with my precious, dearest friend, who was our next door neighbor, she sent the picture of us back to me.
Would you just look at me now and what I have turned into. What a difference a quarter of a decade makes!
And I fear there are more changes yet to come. Do you like my new look?
Please don't forget to share your smile with others every day! Blessings & Hugs! Pam
Many of us are having rain, wind, thunder & lightning, some even snow! Take care; be safe. Maybe seasonal weather coming. Hope that snow misses you, Cheryl, as you mentioned. *hugs*
Welcome to the weekend! I have gotten my to-do list checked off for the day plus a couple things I hadn't even planned. So, though I won't be curled up in a basket taking a cat nap later, I will be relaxing. Sipping my iced tea in the air conditioning while nature tries to remember what season this is and behaves accordingly. Have a super Saturday.
Hello Cheryl, thank you! It's looking very 'Spring timey here too. The girls helped me put the window clings on yesterday and we made homemade won tons for lunch. Have a good weekend!
Here it is Friday again! Doesn't that just make you want to do a happy dance? :) The weather has been very warm here and will be through the weekend before quite a cool down next week.
I was able to catch up on cleaning today since I have had the day to myself and managed to get 3 windows cleaned. Always nice getting spring cleaning done.
Hope you have a great day, what's left of it! Hugs,Rhonda
Mother Nature is very confused on this first Thursday of April.
We had such HIGH winds that all the dandelion seeds have been scattered all over our yard and throughout the neighborhood.
As you can see, Carly is guarding all the dandelions in our yard.
Then the clouds come and go in all colors and shapes. Just looking down on us and laughing. We are going to be in the mid 30's on Monday Morning.
But about the time we all settle down in our chairs, three, yes 3 of the loudest cracks of thunder rock our world and we get a 10 minute shower. Then it is over and the gray sky is bright again.
Then sure enough, the Cardinals are back out drying their wings, eating seed, and listening to the mockingbirds sing the most beautiful songs.
It's Friday Eve! And a stay indoors kind of day with humidity at 90% and dew points at 70* The next few days are to be even higher temps (pushing 90*) so this girl will do her outside work in the morning and enjoy the a/c all afternoon! It's a good day regardless of Mother Nature attempting to confuse us as to the season we are actually in. We all just roll with it, right? Have a great afternoon and evening. Lilacs are so beautiful, c
We have made it to the midweek mark. Now we start our coast to the weekend. Spent my morning doing my Wednesday housework and I have laundry going. Looks like rain, maybe. Going to heat up considerably the next many days and I'm not ready for near-90* temps yet. Who am I kidding? I'm NEVER ready for 90* temps. LOL Have a great day, whatever your weather.
I don't know which I like best... the graphic you posted, your pretty red tulips or that precious Charlie who has grown up since you were there visiting. Thanks Cheryl for sharing!
