Our temp today was 71 but will be 76 tomorrow and no rain in site. Only put towels away that I folder the day before so it was a slow day for me. Had leftover chilie for dinner. Rich had a sweet craving so I suggested we go out for ic cream at Sonic. That fixed us right. Late entry, but I had some legal work to do on the computer that took time. Have a wonderful Wednesday.
Fall is the time for Chrysanthemums to bloom. Isn't it amazing how different times of the year different plants show their colors.
This Tuesday morning we are still waiting for rain. It is west of us! Fort Worth got a nice rain yesterday evening!
Me, waiting for rain to get here. Cooler temperatures coming... a high of 55 for Halloween is cold! Not waiting for that! Just trying to be thankful for every minute of every day.
We've had warm days for a week at least but today it's only going up to 63. The sun is out in full force so I'm thinking it might get warmer. Think our high comes around this time. I didn't slept good last as I have had such a hard time falling asleep for the past several days so I'm getting up when the day is half over. Did put together a chicken crockpot recipe so the only cooking I'll do is roast some brocolli. But I had all the ingredients on hand so I though why not. Never did this recipe before so I hope it turns out good. Yes you'll get back into your routine of when your hubby is gone - you already are taking a nap so I'm guessing you're almost there right now. Have a good rest of the day Cheryl. Hugs, Wend
It was a real pretty day here Cheryl - was 70 and just a bit of a breeze. Didn't do anything today but went to play dominos by myself this afternoon. We didn't play 15, but 12 and I got home about 10:30. She made turkey soup - very brothey and lots of veggies - was good and had diet pudding for desert. She's back on her diet. I'll make a casserole next week when we play. Nothings on the calendar for tomorrow. Have a good day tomorrow. Hugs, Wendy
Haven't felt ral good all day - infact I went back to bed for about 1 12 hrs. Been a beautiful day of 72 and sunny. Rich went out tonite but I just wasn't up to it and didn't want to stay thee for 6 hours. He wasn't sure he was gonna stay that late tonite either. We'll see. I did get the vacuumng done but the vacuum flet awfully heavy today. Swept and mopped the kitchen floors yesterday and ran out of pads, so the rest of the floors will have to wait. I did clean the powder room though as that's a small place. No plans for the weekend as we aren't sure if we are gonna have dominoes Sunday - if not then we'll go to the CPOA for Sunday football with brother in law, wife and friends.
