I had a busy day too Cheryl. Did a load of wash, vacuumed the entire house, emptied the dishwasher and made dinner. Of course after vacuuming, I needed a nap and got one. It was partly cloudy again today with a high of 70 and when Rich went out he said it was misting heavily. Got Prime on as the Packers play the Lions and the Packers are Richies' team. Thursday is a day for Butterflies! The other day, I had so many different butterflies in the yard. I think they were looking for water as well as nectar.
Some butterflies seem to add color wherever they go and some are the color!
Have you seen butterflies that are a pale color? I have some that are yellow but you can almost see through them. They are so pale.
I think that this butterfly would just disappear if it landed on a green plant, don't you?!
I love watching the butterflies, but I have very few videos of them. Have you ever tried to video a butterfly up close? Mine are so quick and cover the whole back yard in a matter of seconds. To keep them in view, I have to zoom out to most of the yard and then you can't even tell what color they are!
Good afternoon Cheryl. Happy mid week wishes. It's partly sunny here and I have no plans for the day except tog o tothe Mose tonite for a few drinks with our friends and good conversation. I do love to read with soft soothing music in the background. Lately, every time I think about reading, I start yawning. Maybe because I have been staying up too late at night.
The later it gets and the closer my supposedly bedtime approaches, it always seems that I get a second wind. Or someone will call and I am wide awake. Tonight will be my "catch up" on sleep night, unless I can find a good movie.
It was a pretty day but overcast. We went to Va. Beach for a doc appoint for Rich as a f/u with hsi primary since he had a visit to the hospital a few days agao and they sent him home knowing nothing really. She thinks he has a hernia and wants hme to wear a medical belt and also take potassium. We went to Smokey Bones - a place known for great bbq ribs, plus chicken etc. Haven't been there in a very long time so it was a nice change. Got home after 6 so the day was a fast one. We had a little rain while up in Virginia but non down here in NC. How is your hubby doing with his injury to his shoulder, Cheryl? Hope he's doing good. Have a good nite. hugs, Wendy

Of course we can make the best of this day and choose to do that every day. Do I get frustrated? Sure! Do I have a bad day? Sure! But not for very long.
And I have lots of "bad hair" days! But on those days, I just don't look in the mirror.
So if you have a bad day, find something or someone who will put a smile on your face. Or go out and do something you really like to do that is fun.
After all, a dog, a cat, an animal, a friend, etc. can all turn your day around and make you smile. Then go share that smile with others and make their day bright too.
I like your fall page Cheryl. My computer died so Rich is letting me use his till I can get another one. Went to his brother's for dinner - she said she was making Mexican meat and I kinda invited myself as I haven't had that since she made it over 5 years ago. We had a chuck roast with the viggies and I made mashed potaotes. Nothing I like better than a chuck roast! So I was happy. Just finished watching the Eagles win in football. Did hyou know Prime now is showing Thursday nite football? We watched it last week. Now watching a new program called Irrational - pretty good so far. Busy day! Ran errands in the morning and did lots in the afternoon. Very little sleep as we had 5 different thunder and lightning storms roll through between 9 pm and 5 am. We were Blessed with 1" rain! Sweet Dreams!

The Plano Hot Air Balloon Festival was this weekend. Look at that beautiful Texas Balloon!
And did you know that HEB is going to build a grocery store about 4 miles from our house? It will open in Spring of 2025.
Have you ever been to a Hot Air Balloon launch? We used to go when we first moved here. It is always an on and off launch because we usually have too much wind for them to launch. I love the nighttime when the Balloon "glow"!
