Thought I would share a picture of me on my last day at work!
Now it is Wednesday, and I am off to run errands. Hubby has a chiropractic appointment and is out of hearing aid batteries and milk. My car needs gasoline. Besides, we need to get out before the 100°+ temperatures are back. So enjoy your day!
Hey Cheryl How was your day? it was another hot 95 or so day but a thunderstorm came by and poured for a short time then the sun came out. Got real dark again but we didn't get anything more. It did cool things off by 20 degrees and only supposed to be in the mid 80's which will be a nice break - hope not much humidity will be along with it. I wonder how many people got sunburned at the beach these last 2 days. Have a good Wed. and glad it cooled off for you too. Hugs, Wendy
Not cool here Cheryl - it was 95 when I went out today and went up to 98 with a heat index of over 105. I think the house could feel cooler but Rich thinks it's fine. don't know how my kid in Jersey is feeling as the AC ther broke last month - not surprised as they never had it service since I left. They are trying to hold out till the end of the season when prices for a new one come down - but I doubt if they will - not by very much anyway. Glad your temps are nicer today and hope yur dy was good. Hugs, Wendy
Sunday morning blessings to you! A new week is starting for us and I only work 2 days then Jody will be Kelly's full time Business Office Assistant.
Gosh how I will miss talking to our clients each day and I'll miss Kelly a lot too. But I will let it all go until they call me to come in when Jody needs a vacation day to visit her family.
I will still be singing out loud the happiest tune I can find each and every day.
I will have a new voice and a new song to be sung. Oh my, why are people around me covering their ears?
Just because I am singing my heart out and sharing it with the world around me. A new chapter is starting again.
Hi Clheryl - It was a quiet day for me - hot - 90+ degrees with a heat index of over 100. I was in the house most of the day except when I pulled some weeds earlier. Vacuumed and dried and hung up the shirts and made dinner. Hope you had a good day too and that it wasn't too hot for you that you had to stay indoors, but tha's not really a bad thing, now is it? The plants are so wilted that there are very few blooms to even smell. We have been 104°-107° with heat indexes above 115°. We no longer have a green yard; it is yellow and the grass is almost dead.
It is best just to stay inside with the air conditioner and just glance outside through the window. Then pull the shades down again.
Don't open the window! The heat will come in and no telling who else! Maybe some nosey neighbor.
Have you seen that new guy with the blue eyes that moved into our neighborhood last week? I think his name is Gus!
I heard him call me a peeping tom just yesterday! Can you imagine? Doesn't he know who he is talking to?
