Hey Cheryl - happy June - can you believe it's here already - alost half the year is gone already. The showee in our bedroom has been leaking and Rich finally called the ins. Co. who sent over Servie Pro who put in a big dehumidifier in the bathroom and closed the door. We slept in there last nite even itho it did get a little warm. They came back today and put another one in the bedroom and tore up part of rug and the vynal foor in the bathroom. So no mater what, we'll get new rugs and flooring in the bath. Hpefully the ins. willl come thru. The shower also has to be removed no matter what an we called Bath Fitters to see what they have to offer. It was quite a day an Rich took me out to dinner. We moved into the third bedroom - quite a bit smaller but can stll get in our bedroom to get clothes. I'll be glad when all this is done and finished which hpefully will be in a week or 2. The day started out with rain but stoed around 2 and the sun is comming out now I tried a new recie for peach cobbler and I didn't have peaches in heavy suryp so it's a little wet and the top didn't brown But I hope it taste good as it for dessert with our friends tonite when we play dominoes. We'll pick up a pizza for dinner as it's my turn to cook and I didn't want to overload myself. I'll do some laundry tomorrow - did some darks the other day as

Hi Cheryl - how was your Saturday? I hope you had a nice day - got any plans for tomorrow or Monday? Or did you have someting planned for today? I just stayed home all day - found a new recipe for canned chicken - chicken croquettes - they were really good and I think only 5 ingredients. i will make them again as even Rich enjoyed them. The therapist on Friday transferred me to a cane from the wheelcharir. But I'm getting around the house without it - so I think I'm doing really good. Hope you and Boyd have a good rest of the weekend and any plans that you my have. We'll just be chilling at the old homestead. Hugs, Wendy
You are lucky that you can open windows and doors Cheryl. Rich has allergies and wants all the windows kept shut. I do try to to open them when he's not here when it's nice, but lately he's been hanging around here more just in case I need something or God forbid fall. I can dress myself now without his help. PT is coming tomorrow and I'm pretty sure she's gonna want to see me with a cane instead of the walker. I can walk some on my own - short distances but feel safer with a walker. So we'll see. Wednesday is the middle of the week and a wonderful day for a day off. Woo Hoo! Yippee Yahoo!
And with just a little help from my friends, it will be a GREAT day, if I don't look at my "todo" list, that is.
