That's nice that your son is engaged. A lot of folks just like to live together and not marry. I'm guessing your son and girlfriend are living together and since they are getting along so it was time to take the next step. It was another nice day with no humidity. I went out to pull a few weeds but not many as there are just too many and a lot of them have thorns. I'll have to take my foam pad out and get down on my knees - not sure my hip will like that and it might take me a long time to get back up! Went out to dinner at a place here in Camden and the special was prime rib so I got it. It was big and I only ate the tip. It came with a salad and baked potato - I couldn't even finish my salad and the dinner came. I brought it all home. So I'll have a big lunch tmorrow. Enjoy the rest of the nite Cheryl Hugs, Wendy
humidity isn't as bad here but dry 110+heat can feel like you are sticking your head in the oven. I hibernate during the summers and the neighbors rarely see me. ha We have a pool but it isn't used often. Too hot, and the pool feels like a sauna.
Evening Cheryl - I'm fine and I hope you are too. I didn't get my whites out of the dryer yesterday and they are still there. I need to get them out and fold them up after I do this note. Went to the Moose meeting this evening and then we all went out to eat - it was 3 Amigos. It's fine, but its so late to eat. We didn't really have a hot day today and this evening was on the cooler side. Don't think our AC has run in 2 days now and I know it didn't come on last nite at all. Hope your Wednesday went well. Take care. Hugs, Wendy
I thought that was the reason you had this treatment done, but wasn't sure. I also had a hysterectomy done when I was in my 40's and went straight on the estridial patch. My insurance covers mine but not sure if I had pellets that it would. Mine works for me. it was a cooler day but honey said it was still warm when he was cutting the grass this afternoon. I was in the house all day. Started making chicken and dumplings around 3. I had a rotisseri chicken that I got at Sam's the other day and we ate very little of it so there was almost a whole chicken that I had to boil. I don't make my own dumplings, but bought the frozen ones - they are ok. We finally ate after 7:30 but it was worth it. have a good nite - tomorrow we are in a new month! Hugs, Wendy
Thanks for the explanation Cheryl but why do you have to go thru all this? I don't understand what the pellets are for. It was a nice break in the weather today - was 83 and no humidity. Was a lazy day untill we got ready to go play dominos. It was her turn to cook and she made suffed cabages which were good, and had a cheddar bay biscuit to go with it. I came in second and Rich was last. Can you believe today is the last day of July? I know August will be another hot month. I just wish I was home so I could enjoy a couple of swims in the ocean and lay n the beach. It's been years since I have been able to do that and I'm not getting any younger! Have a good start to the new week and enjoy. Hugs, Wendy
Dropping by to say hi... Hope you are doing well and staying cool. Not bad here, temps have been in the low 90's for the last few days, much better than the 100 degree days we had. Enjoy your day and have a great week~~ Take care, debijo
I hope your Sunday is a blessing and not scorching hot. Sprinklers are going non stop here.
Wendy shared a picture with us and I told her that it is more peaceful at her place than it is in our backyard. It is wonderful to see the new babies.
Another friend shared a picture of her son swimming with a dolphin in Cabo. He has lots of swimming medals from earlier in school but what a blessing this must be for him and his girlfriend as she swam with a dolphin too.
My friend in Lubbock is getting a new Standard Poodle puppy soon. She wants her dog to teach her niece how to be a Perfect lady. What a blessing!
Of course, I couldn't leave without sharing our blessings to have wonderful neighbors. We have watched Bennett grow up and now Livvy is 2. They both loved the Ice Cream Cart we gave her. She couldn't wait to lick the Ice Cream. Be sure to count your blessings every day!
