Cute kitty page Cheryl.   Slept late today then started cutting up the veggies to make the potato and macarroni salad for the installation of officers for the moose Sunday.  Did chores around the house then laid back down for a while till it was time to go to the meeting tonite.  Afterwards the four of us when to Pier 17 - a local noodle and seafood place - we all had the Mongolian beef - always good in my opinion.  Got a special VFW meeting where all the voting will be redone and supervised by a VFW State person.  Hoping for the same results but we'll see.   HIt started raining here around 10 - we need it too.  Hve a good Thursday.  hugs, Wendy

Yes we are closing in on almost 2" since early morning sometime and just had a good shower.  Supposed to get a severe storm this evening and rain through noon Thursday (I am working tomorrow) and then more rain expected on Friday.  This is unless they change the forecast.  

Middle of the week and I am working on Thursday.  

Do you remember 1959?  Have you ever seen a car, VW, with a coffee maker?  Why is that NOT still a thing?  

And kids and especially grandkids, aren't they a joy?  Some of them are clever and devious too.

But no matter the age, our grandchildren are a delight because we can give them sugar, spoil them and send them back home (most of the time).

I have been busy doing things mostly in the kitchen today.  Fried up some little red potatoes and onions for tonite's dinner, peeled some apples that were past their prime to make fried apples to go with a couple slices of ham for dinner, but they burned while I went to the bathroom.  Rich who is always in the kitchen being nosey was on the couch talking with his brother and as soon as I came into the LR I could smell they burned.  So no apples.  Gonna nuke 2 ears of corn - hope they're good.  I planted a  money plant that my son's gf sent me, changed two of the 3 hummingbird feeders, so I have been busy.  The sun is shinning and is a nice day but of course this late, it's a bit cooler now.  Guess I'll go start dinner - nothing to it tonite!!  Hugs, Wendy

We got rain last week, 12/10" is what Hubby told me.  The grass is green.  We are expecting more rain (along with the possibility of hail and tornadoes) today and tomorrow.  

Yes, this is me.  Excited that I have so many flowers blooming.  

And you know I have many, many, many more of my pictures from this month.  I hope you enjoy these and they put a smile on your face.  Now don't forget to share that smile with others.

Bennett next door is 7 or 8 and he plays soccer.  I haven't been to his game but I have kicked the ball back & forth with him when we are all visiting in the front yard.  FUN!

Glad you had a good trip Cheryl.  It's nice tobe home, isn't it?  I'm glad you had suckh a good time and got to watch your grandson play ball.   My week and weekend were very full - from meetings to going out to eat  to cooking for our domino group nite last nite.  It's gonna be a busy rest of the week too.  We had our auxillary meeting to elect new officers and there were some people who called the State to complain about how things were done, so now another election will be hel in a special meeting where the State head will be there to see it's done correctly.  Have a good rest of the evening.   Hugs, Wendy

Another week!  Another Monday!  Sometimes we just need help to get going.  

A Dream is pretty easy but it is the Determination that we need help with on a daily basis.  

Sometimes it is hard to focus on the good instead of the bad.  Do you agree?  

So we have to focus on love and how to have LOTS of it.  Enough to share with everyone we meet in life.  

It is impossible to get too much Love and to give too much Love.

Sundays are usually a beautiful day and most Spring days are beautiful too.  But today we are cold and wet.  Rain with a high only in the low 50's.  

Have you ever seen such a beautiful sky?  Of course, my favorites are orange sunrise or sunset.  

A sunrise or a sunset like this can happen in just about any season in Texas, especially on the coast and reflecting in the water.  

The sun can make a cloud orange even when a storm is on the horizon too.  

God's ARTwork in the colors of the sky is always something to sing about.  

Sunday is a day to remember the past week and to give thanks for all those wonderful things we saw and all the remarkable things He did for us.

Here we are again on Saturday Caturday!  What is up today?  We always have College Baseball or College Softball to watch on TV.  

And of course, nothing gets done or even gets started without coffee.  At least 2 cups please.  

Well, now the tables have turned.  All of us have something we NEED, don't we?  What is your vice?  

I will have to admit that food is another thing that is pretty high on my list.  At least once a day I really enjoy a good meal.  

Of course I sure do enjoy a snack too, maybe even a couple of times a day.  What is your favorite snack?  

Now that I've made us all hungry, I better go find something to eat before I go outside and watch for hummingbirds.
