I saw your red tulips on facebook, that came up along side of your house.  My day was not too fruitful - won't get an answer from someone till Monday as they were out of the office as of 3pm this afternoon.  Hope I remember what I need them for - lol.  I did scrub the shower down as best I could as my right arm is still hurting and made dinner - which isn't too hard at all.  Made plans with my sister in law to get together for Easter dinner at her house.  I'll make the candied sweet potatoes, asparagus, and a dessert.  It'll be nice as we havn't had a dinner with them in years.  Hope you have a wonderful Good Friday.  Not sure if I'll be on tomorrow or not.  Lots to do before going out with our friends.   Hugs, Wendy

Is there anything more magical than a butterfly?  

Have you ever put a caterpillar in a net Habitat and watched it change into a butterfly?  

Don't laugh... How old is your driver's license picture?  I guess that is why we have to go in person and have a new picture taken every now and then.  

I love seeing how many different colored butterflies I can spot in a day or sometimes it takes me a week to find different ones.  

But again, isn't it magical to see them and even more special to have them land on you.  Do you smell sweet enough to have them land on you?  

Oh look... There is a bee too!

Our temps today was 87 - had the AC on as if we open the windows the pollen will come in.  i did that one year and the kitchen was covered in fin yello/green dust - took a logn tiime to clean everything up - yuck!   not doing that again!   Sat outside for a while this evening and it was just beautiful out.  There was a slight breeze blowing and it was wonderful sitting there listening to the wind chims.  Hope you had a nice day Cheryl.   Take care, hugs,, Wendy

We started the morning at 5 am at 77° and we are now 52° and still dropping.  

I guess we are all in agreement with that statement.  We had a thunderstorm and LOTS of lightning beginning way before daylight as the cold front came through.   

One again, we were blessed.  We were on the very edge and only got 2/10" of rain this morning.  

Spring is here and there are some plants that are showing us their beautiful colors.  However, it is so windy that any tulips that have come up are probably laying on the ground now. 

Sunshine one day and a cold north wind the next.  We have been above 90 and will be back in the 40's for several nights.  

All we can do is share our smile with everyone we meet.  I will be working tomorrow before the long weekend starts on Good Friday.  See you soon.

Welcome to April.  It is the beginning of a new month.  And it is almost time for what?  Easter of course!

I think that Easter has always been my favorite time of year.  As a child, I had a Peter Rabbit that went everywhere I went.  

I remember that Peter Rabbit got left behind in a motel once and had to be mailed back to me.  Did you have a favorite blanket or stuffed animal?  

We have bunnies all around us where we live but my dogs don't like them in our backyard.  When bunnies are discovered, they have to run fast for safety outside of our fence.  

Run! Hide! Seek!  My dogs can still smell you, Mr Bunny!  Do you hide eggs and do you color eggs?

Didn't do much today - have bursitis in my shoulder and the paing goes down to my elbow and forearem - nothing seems to help and it's hard to find a comfortable position to sleep.  Did go to our domino game tonite - think I came in last.   No matter - its just for fun but the other lady gets real pissy if she doesn't win or has a bad hand.  She mad a chicken pot poe that was terrible - all veggies - canned - which is ok but had an extra can or corn in it and wasn't very creamy and had only top crust.  Since it's Easter Sunday next week, I think we'll just stay home and have a quiet dinner for just us.  Have a wonderful start to the new week.
