Good Afternoon and welcome to summer! My girls got back after their vacation trip to Myrtle Beach and all around the South East.
They stopped by on the way home to share pictures. So I have uploaded some new pictures on my home page. I am sure enjoying all the new pages on The Hill with cute and beautiful pictures. I don't change my main page but I do try to update pictures and hope you enjoy them.
I am hoping that all the fires in Canada have been put out now. Any fire is a scary time and I hope none of you were affected personally. It is time for me to start getting ready for work tomorrow and Friday. Be sure to check the bulletins on the days that I am working.

Wednesday, half way through the week. Yesterday we had new AC units installed upstairs and outside. Today temperatures will begin in the 90's in our area.
The yard looks beautiful. Hubby got most of the yard edged and I got front and back mowed. The daily popup showers did not come near us but everyday there is a slim chance.
My strawberry plants have produced a few already this year. I gave one to Livvy last week and she cried all the way home for more. It was the only one at the time. I have shared with several other people since then including the one I dropped that Carly got.
Today is all about catching up on things around the house with a smile on my face. Maybe this and maybe that but probably not... if you know what I mean.
Now I am heading outside to check out the flowers and see who needs water the most. Also to see if I can get a picture of the Blue Jay that flew off as the camera was ready to capture him. Hummingbird feeders probably need new food too. Come sit for a while with me! I hope you feel better!

I'm back after my computer went on the fritz for a couple of days. How are you and how have you been these last few days? Not much has changed around here. Still have the dryers and humidifiers in the bathroom and under the house. Hope they will do the trick before the people come to put in the new shower or else that will have to be moved back and the man put in a rush order for us. That's about all that's new on this end. So about 3 hours before Amy got here, I realized our Air Conditioner was not cooling. Our repair man came and we are going to have to replace the inside and outside units. At least he got it up and running for the weekend. Thank you Lord!
It is a good thing that I am working because this is going to be a pretty penny for a new AC. We have already paid for the materials for 100' of our fencing project but the rain is keeping them from being able to replace it right now.
God always provides, of that I am positive. Otherwise, I might be calling to see if you have room for us to visit you for a while. We are truly blessed and looking forward to whatever happens next. Now time for another nap!
Evening Cheryl - We haven't had any rain today but the weekend isn't over yet!!! Went to Lowe's and I got a couple plants that were on the sale rack - hope they transplant well so I can have some color in the garden. The weeds are kness high and i 'm hoping I can get Rich out there to weed eat all around the plants. Getting him anything but mow the lawn (which he did today while I napped) is a feat. So we'll see. Hopefully we can move back into our own bedroom tomorrow if the place has dried out. I nave to do into the athroom everyday to get something - like clothes or something out of the bathroom. Three hours sleep + 2 more. Now our family is gone. I was still texting at 2:15 am and awake at 5:30, with a nap until 8 am.
There are no words to tell you how much fun Rbt and I had visiting all day yesterday with Amy. Denise is like my daughter and we adore Logan and his girlfriend Megan.
Carly had so much fun with Logan and with Megan too. They would play tug-of-war and where did the toy go? So now with College Baseball on TV, it is time for us and the dogs to take a nap as they are on their 7-8 hour trip to South Texas and home to Alice.
We both know I probably won't nap anytime soon. But what a wonderful day off and weekend.
Hey Cheryl - happy June - can you believe it's here already - alost half the year is gone already. The showee in our bedroom has been leaking and Rich finally called the ins. Co. who sent over Servie Pro who put in a big dehumidifier in the bathroom and closed the door. We slept in there last nite even itho it did get a little warm. They came back today and put another one in the bedroom and tore up part of rug and the vynal foor in the bathroom. So no mater what, we'll get new rugs and flooring in the bath. Hpefully the ins. willl come thru. The shower also has to be removed no matter what an we called Bath Fitters to see what they have to offer. It was quite a day an Rich took me out to dinner. We moved into the third bedroom - quite a bit smaller but can stll get in our bedroom to get clothes. I'll be glad when all this is done and finished which hpefully will be in a week or 2. Hpe your day was better. It was a little rainy today and 69 - not typical June weather! Hugs, Wendy
