Hi Cheryl - happy first day of April and happy April Fools day. Hope you didn't get any jokes pulled on you today! We went to the spring fling at the VFW - an Easter egg hunt for the children - hamburgers and hots dogs were for sale and there were crafter there too. I got a small candle and a bag of sugared pecans that our friend made. It was a windy day but I'm sure all the kids had a good time finding all the eggs scattered all over the grass. Went to lunch after and am still full from that so I didn't have to cook dinner. Rich at some soup. Yesterday I got a much needed pedicure and got my hair washed and blown dry as I have bursidtis in my arm and can't do a whole lot. Went to the Moose afterwards and had a good time there with our friends. Hope your day went well and you got done what needed. I think my bursitis came from vacuuming the other day so be careful doing housework!!! Hugs , Wendy

Sounds like your day went well Cheryl. I got up this morning had a peice of toast with my coffee so I could take a motrin because my shoulder is hurting - think it's bursitis, and went badk to bed for a few hours as I couldn't get comfortable in bed last nite. Felt better when I got up. Trying to rest it as much as I can but I did make dinner. We had a sunny day with a temp in the high 50's. Gonna be at least 70 something tomorrow but the rain might move in. Your tuplips sound so pretty - white ones sound really pretty. We went to the Moose last nite as our friend made navy beans and cornbread and a dumpcake for dessert. The other woman used to do it but her helth prevents her from doing it now - she made butter beans and sausage sandwhiches. it's done on the 5th Wed of every month. it was pretty good and made $67 - not bad for about a dozen people as it was a donation. We brought some extras home and can have them for lunch. Have a good nite. Hugs, Wendy
Guess what I saw yesterday afternoon? YES!!! Now they have fresh food too!
Come on over and get some nectar. It is fresh and delicious. Don't you know that it is Spring and the flowers are beginning to bloom.
Aren't they just amazing creations of God? They are truly a unique creature just like you and I are unique.
They are so much fun to watch. It is something I never tire of doing. And as soon as we just get some sunshine, I'll be out in the backyard watching them.
Well, here's looking at you. I am off to attempt to mow and bag the yard which is mostly weeds.
I am posting late today, so I thought when you read this we could just sit for a while and talk or maybe even solve the problems of the world as the sun kisses the water.
Think about things we did wrong and instead of worrying about them just find a way to do them differently this time. What goes around comes around again.
Then, think about, what if we had gotten what we asked for. It might have led us down a terrible path. Instead of the wonderful journey we are on now after blessings of getting what we really needed all along.
So get out there and share your kindness with others that might be having a bad day and might desperately need your smile or your help and need you to show them there are still lots of good people in this world. So glad your back is better! Answered prayers!
It was a slow day for me - did some more house work but worked on my other social site page and made dinner. Glad you had a good day - I also took a nap. Seems like I do that a lot more often than I used too. Guess I'm just getting worn out easier. lol The weather was nice - sunny and 62 a real nice sunny day. Gonna get cooler every day this week.
