Can't help you oout Cheryl, as I don't watch American Idol anymore and haven't for years now. Mostly because honey doesn't like shows like that. My girlfriend made reference to it in a post today, but I'm not even sure she said who won. I wouldn't tell ya anyway!! We had a plumber friend come over to see why the shower is leaking - they fixed it for a while, but told us not to use it for a week. The fix might last 6 days, 6 weeks or 6 months but it realy needs a new shower. I've been telling Rich to get it looked at months ago. Anyway, thank goodness we have a shower tub in the hall bathroom.Always something in a house that takes your money. I just talked to my son, and he had to replace the diswasher as it didn't clean well and the girlfriend got tired of washing dishes by hand. It to be about 12-15 years old, so it was time. We had a nice sunny day with temps in the 70's and no rain till the end of the week. So much work needs to be done around here, I'm thinking of hiring my friend to come clean the house right before I get totally well and having the rugs cleand after that. Hi Cheryl - hope you are having a nice weekend so far. It was a sunny day in the 70's with lots of sunshine. Was inside all day but hoping to get out to the little market down the road - I can't drive yet but I'm sure honey will take me. I want some fresh strawberries before they are all gone. I survived Friday! It was supposed to be an easy day... Well, I always find stuff to do and can't just leave things undone or not finish a project.
I was like, "Don't bother me. I am on a roll and working hard to finish what I started."
Besides, if you stay busy it makes the time fly. I didn't even finish my coffee until 2:30 and ate my sandwich while putting labels on brochures. I just hate lazy people that hide from work and don't do what needs to be done.
Now, it is like nothing to worry about on Monday except on to the next project ~ woo hoo! I am just enjoying the weekend. The yard got mowed and the rains came! God is good!
The Longhorn girls won their softball game yesterday and the Longhorn boys won their second game of the weekend yesterday. But today they both play at the same time across the street from each other in Austin.

Well I didn't do a lot today either - can't really do much with being in a walker. Had Rich take down a humming bird feeder to put fresh food in it as it was all gone. I need to to the other one tomorrow as I put in what little I had left. I took the bandage off my hip incision - it looks ugly but no drainage or blood. Had another session of PT today - the lady was real nice and all we did was exercises. She's here about 30 min. Not sure when my next appointment with them will be as I'm doing so good and I don't think there are alot of folks who work for this company. I should be doing these excercises a couple times a day and work up from 10 reps to 20 by next week. Made more sugar water for the hummers and did put what little I had left in one feeder. I'll fix the other two tomorrow. We had thunder roll thru here last nite but I think the rain missed us. Have a good nite. Hugs, Wendy
I have been asleep early the last 2 nights and tomorrow is my day off. Then back to work Friday. I have laundry, bills to pay, yard needs to be mowed but it might still be too wet, groceries to buy... and probably a hundred other things to do tomorrow. Good night and sweet dreams! Pam
