Hi Cheryl - how is your Friday going? I hope you're having a good day. It's a bight sunny clear day with the temp around 60. Haven't been doing anyting exciting today - think I have seets to fold in the dryer and gonna make pork chops for dinner before we go out wit our friends. I'm tired and wish I could take a nap, but i don't have the time right now. Have you ever seen such a beautiful fountain? I graduated high school and never read a complete book, at least that is the way I remember it.
Now I love to read for the sheer enjoyment of the moment. I don't retain a lot and that is just the way my memory has always been. But when I read, I can become a different person.
I probably have more books than that and that doesn't count the over 5,000 kindle books on my iPad. Now if you will excuse me for a bit, I'm going to my favorite corner of the world.
I got quite a bit done today - first went to te post office - it was closed as it was lunch time, so I went to the senior center to pick up a newsletter and sat with my friends for a few minutes while they were in a bingo game and signed up to do some activities for the month. Tomorrow is a cooking demo at 10 so I have to get up early. I did do a load of whites but they are still in the dryer. Need to get some out and fold them so Rich will have clean underwear for tomorrow. Have a good nite and a good day tomorrow. Hugs, Wendy

I know this probably never happens to you, but I forgot where I was going with all this. I know I wasn't going to drink more water right now as I have had too much already this morning. Oh, that was coffee.
I remember we were talking about... the weather and whether or not to let the plants get rain with the possibility of wind damage, hail, tornado, or cold temperatures. Maybe I was just going to water indoor plants.
At least I only work 4 more days and then the new person will start on January 9th. I'll be able to watch TCU vs Georgia and stay up late (like I do anyways). I already miss working with Kelly though!
It's a new day and a new year. Welcome to 2023! I hope we can start off the year with our legs under us and that we can jump over any hurdles that get in our way. Just want to say that your friendship means the world to me. So let's do something fun together, like climb a tree. You go first and I'll be right there.
